The new Gaggia Titanium that broke!

Advantages: Large water tank, Speedy, Compact, Easy to customise and use
Disadvantages: Body finish could be better for the price; Brew unit (plastic) is not very sturdy

...After owning a Krups Crematic combi machine for 5 years, I wanted to own something a step up, although there was nothing really wrong with the Krups and it served me well on a daily basis. Although the new Gaggia Titanium has been out for at least a few months there don't seem to be any reviews of it yet, so I hope this is of help. I was in 2 minds whether to plump for this model or the slightly cheaper Gaggia Synchrony Digital Compact. The main reason the Titanium won was because the water tank was double the size of the Compact, the look was better, and the features were improved. One of the other differences between these two models is the Titanium has an "active" cup-warmer whereas the Compact has a "passive" cup-warmer. Seiko Titanium Chronograph.

Advantages: Long lasting, light, goot features, looks very nice.
Disadvantages: The glass gets scratched eventually.

...I have owned a Seiko Titanium Chronograph for around 8 years now. I bought it when I was about 13, and it's been on my wrist practically every day ever since. I have finally got a new watch now, which is by no means replacing the Seiko, I just wanted another one... First off it is still going after 8 years hard use, so the build quality must be there really. I have never had any problems with it whatsoever and it has had one new battery since I got it. Seiko really do give exceptional value for money, they are a mid-range watch company and make very good watches and a very good price. Okay they're not Swiss, but they do the job! I got this done at Jarrolds a year or so ago for around £15. MASURI TITANIUM - A Review

This helped me keep my head still when playing shots and moving my head into line with ease. There was additionally a significant reduction in the number of neck injuries I suffered in comparison with older helmets. Gaggia can take a long time to ship a refurbished unit but they did tell me the lead time when I ordered it. (Refurbished machines are machines that are new, but have been shop damaged or had parts missing and so get returned to Gaggia and are repaired under warranty.) I bought this machine as a second machine as we already have a Synchrony Compact Digital for 3 years which has done over 2200 coffees. The Synchrony Compact Digital will be given a new home soon. The Germans don't give us any stick.

Advantages: Always looks brand new,cooks a dream,truly non-stick.
Disadvantages: expensive

...where the non-stick surface didn't scrape off after a while. This pan is made of hand cast heavy duty aluminium and is non-stick all the way through, not just the surface, so there isn't anything to scrape off. I quite like cast iron pans but they are so heavy and also, in the past these have gone rusty on me. SKK pans are black and solid looking, like cast iron, but not so heavy, though they aren't as light as normal pans. The material they are made of looks smoother and less rough than cast iron, and you don't have to worry about them rusting. ~~~ The base of the pan is titanium, which is forty times harder than stainless steel and looks as good as new after many washes. Gillette - NOT the best a man get

Advantages: No cuts, no irritation, long lasting blades and no pulsating
Disadvantages: Why did they not make these sooner?

...I bet by the title you thought that this was a review on the Gillette series right? Well no - I have discovered the BEST razor ever. The Wilkinson Sword Quattro titanium and it now comes with the vibrating unit for a closer (supposedly) shave. I used to be a Gillette mach 3 man. The three blades were brilliant. You take one swipe and it takes 3. I also found that if you are heavy handed (and admit it people we all get it sometimes - the morning after a heavy night, when you're running late etc. Or as I always found, when the last thing I needed was blood spots all over my face!) the razor would cut 3 times and usually along the whole length of the blade. Dried up blood (after 3 hours to actually scab up) is not a pretty look. It was then I found the Wilkinson Sword Quattro. I admit it - I was sceptical since I was bad enough...
