...After owning a Krups Crematic combi machine for 5 years, I wanted to own something a step up, although there was nothing really wrong with the Krups and it served me well on a daily basis. Although the new Gaggia Titanium has been out for at least a few months there don't seem to be any reviews of it yet, so I hope this is of help. I was in 2 minds whether to plump for this model or the slightly cheaper Gaggia Synchrony Digital Compact. The main reason the Titanium won was because the water tank was double the size of the Compact, the look was better, and the features were improved. One of the other differences between these two models is the Titanium has an "active" cup-warmer whereas the Compact has a "passive" cup-warmer. Advantages: Efficient, bottom freezer, lots of space, highly adjustable

General Design: First of all, this really looks very sexy standing in my new kitchen. With its titanium front finish, it doesn't ever look dirty with fingerprints, and that's a huge plus in my house. Moreover, everyone who has come to visit me since it arrived has commented on its beauty. Also, having a freezer on the bottom is a true blessing. I probably go into the freezer only once or twice a day, but I go into the fridge many, many times a day. Because of this, it only makes sense that the part of the fridge I use the most (and that's actually the veggie drawers) is the easiest part to reach. ...First, I will qualify that I have only had personal experience of using Datawrite 'Titanium' 8x DVD-R, and also, that a lot of the problems that people can have with different DVD-R media are actually down to difference in DVD writer compatibility, as much as they are differences in actual disc or brand quality. The existence of positive reviews of this media on this site alone suggests that a certain amount of variation between discs and DVD writers is possible. But still, I cannot at all recommend using Datawrite Titanium brand DVD-Rs for sensitive data, for burning video, or even really for general use. I have experienced too many problems with using them, with three different DVD writers and PCs. I especially do not recommend using these discs with an LG or Liteon writer. They are not compatible at all with some drives... Read review

Even the courier asked me to help him get it off the van. The box measures 44x57x74cm and is labelled as weighing 31.2 Kg. Inside the box is a worrying limited amount of packing. Now, I know that's the general idea of laptops, but these days they seem to be built to look good and not to be durable when carrying them around. That's fine if you leave your laptop on your desk all the time, but this needs to be carried around a lot, and in any case, I've got the desktop PC which sits on my desk! This is also the place to find "Bling" things like locking wheel nuts etc. There are also the usual array of tax disc holders & "go faster" mats with funky logos, and also of course the usual range of "super" cone filters. Right, this review is about wiper blades, and the Race X company does quite a few, in different colours, red, blue, and silver, plus the black ones in this review..The quality of the blades is pretty good, they do clean windscreens well, and they do seem to last without perishing.
