...TK MAXX is supposed to be cheap and cheerful for designer lables- it's true. But what about the fact that you have to rummage through racks and racks of old season stock until you get to that one item that you think you really like. The menswear departmet isn't thaaaaat bad- probably because male shoppers are a little more docile- you wont find two guys fighting over a tshirt. Whereas the women's section is usually an absolute mess so you can never find more than one of the same item- scenario- you find a pair of trousers you like but they are a huge size 16......tough......unless you have an hour to find the size 10 you are looking for. Price wise, I purchased a Nike sweatshirt for £9.99 when it's RRP is £34.99. Sale time is usually good, you find some proper bargains- I bought a Katherine Hamnett top RRP- £50, TKmaxx price... As the fact of using free services, we are only allowed to use their sub-domain names to refer our sites, such as http://www.djohan.netfirms.com or http://www.user.deluxnetwork.com/~djohan. ...If you have heard people talking about .tk or read anything about them on the internet then you are probably curious as to what it is for. Because there are different endings for each country, E.g. .fr is for France, .de is for Germany, .co.uk is for the uk, but what could .tk stand for. Turkey perhaps, nope, it stands for Tokelau. Tokelau is made up of 3 small atolls located in the south pacific and their total area is 10 sq km, with their highest point being just 5m above sea level. There is a population for all 3 atolls of just 1,405 people. In September 2003 a group of people from the Dot TK team went to all three atolls to present what the Internet can mean for such a small country. ...This is a review on the website www.tk or www.dot.tk to some. This site gives you loads of stuff that is useful for your website, and that thing is a Domain Name. You can sign up free for 3 free Domain Names. There are some disadvantages to this website also, but I will discuss more about that later down in the review. This website allows you to get free domain names, that are reasonable, some of them you will need to pay for, so if they don’t allow you to get it as a free domain, and then change the title a bit, then you will have your domain name. But before you can do all that, you will need to register for the website. Advantages: The adventure of it all
Disadvantages: couldn't go in looking for a specific item - you'd never find it.

...The first time I encounted the delights of TK Maxx was the Falkirk branch, back in 1999. My initial thoughts were - 'what a mess!', however, my sister, who had already been initiated into the delights of TK Maxx persuaded me to give it a chance.... The stock is a complete mish mash. You never know what is going to be on the shelves - but there are some incredible bargains to be had. I guess that's what makes it such an addictive experience. There are designer labels galore, not that I'm really that bothered by designer labels or high end fashion to be honest, if I like it I like it, it doesn't matter to me whether it is last season. I'll probably end up wearing it for decades anyway. That's the great thing about TK Maxx, most of the clothes are great quality. ...www.dot.tk offers internet users free domain names that end in .tk (e.g. sfcsfc.tk my website). There is the obvious advantage of being able to make your own personal website name a lot more easy to remeber and more accessible to the masses if you do not want to pay for a domain. It looks more professional if your website ends .tk rather than .co.uk/freewebssfcsfc. You will be able to keep your free domain as long as you have 25 hits to your website every 90 days, meaning that it is easy to keep even if your website does not appeal in the early stages you can easily visit it yourself this amount of times to keep it running. If however you do lose your domain it will then cost you $9.95 to get it back. Advantages: The clothes can be very cheap

...TK Maxx (or for our American cousins TJ Maxx) Have you ever wondered what happens to the clothes/shoes/toys/underwear/objects/books/luggage/gifts/bedding at the end of the sales? Well TK Maxx is the answer. You will find the stores at the top of shopping centres or on out of town retail parks (both of which offer large spaces at cheap rents) and once you get inside you will not find a beautifully presented store with everything to hand (No Next experience this!). You will find the store broken into categories from clothing to kitchen implements and a lot more besides. Each category may be subdivided, especially clothes into sex/type/size (I.E. Men’s T-shirts XL) Then the real fun starts! You then have to trawl through your chosen category, which is where the TK Maxx shopping experience becomes something of an art... Read review

...I only write reviews about products/servies which are any benifit to me, writing about the negative is just a waste of time. So, why is TK MAXX so benifitial? oe word: VALUE. Whilst wandering around swansea (my local town centre, filled with designer outlets) on day, I realised that I had money to spend, and I needed some clothes because my others seemed outdated. I searched a few shops for Jeans- TOPMAN (nice clothes in general but rather expensive for what I'm earning), GAP (the prices are over twice as high as any other shop of its kind) and then I decided to take a look in TK MAXX. I had only been there once before with my mother, that is because she had heard there was some lovely jewellery on sale (they sell clothes, jewellery, furniture, ornaments, plus all sorts of other things). Disadvantages: Finding your size, the fact you don't know if/when they will get your size in

...a variety of places, all under one roof! Also, they get over 1000 new items in every week so there is never a time when you can say "I've seen this all before!" The most fantastic thing is the prices. I find it hard to believe TK Maxx can sell their designer goods so cheaply, when they can be up to triple the Tk Maxx price in other stores. When you shop here, it makes ypu wonder why you ever paid full price for designer clothes when you can get the same quality for half the price at TK Maxx. You will never need to pay full price for designer clothes again. For example, I recently bought a pair of Quiksilver Jeans to the retail value of £55 for only £19.99! I have found no fault with these jeans and they seem to be of very high quality. They have also washed well, not shrinking at all which is what I half expected to happen, so i'm really... ...I have been buying from TK Maxx for a number of years now , in fact I am lucky enough to have 3 of their branches within a 20 minute radius of me. I have often visited all 3 in one day!!! I therefore feel qualified to pass over a few tips . The simple concept seems to be to sell otherwise expensive clothes and household items at a fraction of their normal cost. They appear to do this by buying last years designer stock at reduced prices, carry as much stock as possible, situating themselves in areas where the rent is going to be low and keeping staff costs low. The result of this is that the shops are often a mess, with stock often damaged and on the floor!! They are often not in the centre of big shopping precincts but are large shops often outside of town centres. The stock is very varied but not displayed clearly so... Read review
