AMD turion tl-58:- a great prcessor all round

Advantages: speed, perormance, no dodgy intel media graphics
Disadvantages: none really

...The processor operates at 1.9 Ghz which is not the fastest processor in the world, the fastest in the family of processors is the Turion TL-66 at 2.3Ghz. This speed is definately not bad though, with many intel laptop processors coming in at around 1.6 Ghz to 2Ghz. The speed is definately more than fast enough for the standard home user and probably fine for business use or even professional use. Although it is not the fastest it is still reasonable, and it has to be said that being a laptop processor it can not be expected to reach the same speeds as desktop processors which I have known to reach 3.2Ghz. For anyone out there who is not technologically minded like me, and who does not understand Ghz, Mhz etc, it is quite fast, that is the simple version. A very compact and very good value flat screen!

Advantages: Sharp picture, compact, good value

...You may remember my recent review of the Relisys TL766 17? flat screen monitor, well this monitor is basically it?s smaller brother, having a 15? screen rather than a 17?. Having recently updated our work computers, the vast majority are 17? screens, but I have also come across a couple of 15? monitors we haven?t used yet, so decided to get one out of the box and see the difference between the TL766 and this model, the TL565! This monitor will retail for around £220-£250 depending on what supplier you go to. Specifications The monitor itself, like the TL766 has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024. The monitor will display 16.7 million colours, using 0.8 mega pixel, 24 bit technology. It has 0.297mm dot pitch and a refresh rate of 20 milliseconds. Cheap and stainless...what can I say...

Advantages: Cheap, Stainless, Does the business, still going strong after 4.5 years
Disadvantages: Hasn't got a big name, if that's important to you
