...Background: I have read several novels written by Robert Goddard in the past few months. His books are usually exciting thrillers and of the ones I have read I have enjoyed his style and his storylines. So when I saw this one at my local jumble sale I was keen to purchase it at the fantastic price of just 20 pence. About the author: Robert Goddard was born in Hampshire in 1954. He is an international best selling author and was nominated for the Edgar Award for his novel 'Beyond Recall' in 1999. He has written twenty novels so far of which three are from the Harry Barnett series. The novel I am reviewing was written in 2004. Synopsis of the book: Toby Flood has come down to Brighton to appear in a play. His career has spluttered since his early success on the television and he hopes by appearing in the relatively unknown...

What Games Do You Like To Play?

Advantages: A gripping story, engaging characters, and you'll never guess who did it until the very end!
Disadvantages: Some may find the murders too gruesome to stomach!

...Want To Play? This is the debut psychological thriller by an American mother - daughter team. It is part of their ongoing Monkeewrench series (the American title of this book), the latest being Snow Blind which was out in September 2006. The first three books went on to become National and International bestsellers. What made me pick us this book online was the fact that one of my favourite authors Harlen Coben spoke so highly of it, so in an instant I just new that the chances were I'd enjoy it. Grace MacBride is part of the Monkeewrench team, who are in the process of creating a new computer game which involves the player solving murders. Going on else where in Minneapolis are a couple of gruesome murders that at first glance seem unrelated to each other. Grace however soon realizes that these very murders are exact copies...

The ultimate game to play at parties!

Advantages: keeps you fit in a fun way
Disadvantages: Wouldnt play it on my own

...I have only recently played this after being round a friends house and I am now saving to get one of my own. The wii fit is about exactly that keeping fit. With it you get the balance board which you need to do all the exercises and games on there. It also acts as a control for other games which you can buy which is always useful! When starting it up you'll have to select you height and age and then step onto the board and you'll be weighed. It works out your approximate age by testing you on a couple of things, this was a lot of fun as it seemed even those who were fitter then the rest of us were getting high ages. This I think is because it tests you more on your balance then actual fitness, however it is all good fun! The wii fit calcualtes your BMI for and it will let you know whether your obese, ideal or underweight and then...

* No Play to be had with Durex Play Feel *

Advantages: No smell, colourless, doesn't stain clothes

...Durex Play Feel I had some Boots vouchers spare, need some condoms and spotted Durex's Play range. I'm not a massive fan of lubes. They always seem to dry me up but my boyfriend said oooh lets get some so I relented. No clue why he picked the Feel bottle but he did. So in the basket, it went. Then lots of blushing at the till and off home. It's buy one get one free on selected Durex items in Boots at the moment. No clue how long it will last. The vouchers paid for everything that day so technically it was free but if you're just buying it, it's £3.55 for a 50ml. It's also available in 100ml bottles. I've seen it in Boots for £5.55. ...from the three disgraces, I can sense some manipulation going on here with the characters lives, lets see what happens. As it happens and all four end up forming a new band, Dilly has a wonderful voice, Flipper can play drums and Nell, well Nell just looks good and has no talent at all. The book then follows the ins and outs of the lives of the four main characters and what happens to them next, there are a lot of other characters in this book and initially over the first couple of chapters it is quite a lot to take in. She Played; She Won...

Advantages: Lovely tracks, Gabrielle is as great as ever

I was never really what you’d call a “fan” of hers before I bought her Greatest Hits collection, but after that it became one of my favourites – if not my favourite – of all time. When I saw she was releasing a studio album I knew I had to buy it. Play To Win seemed different and typical Gabrielle, and I just had to buy it… My first impressions of the album were that it was extremely repetitive. I love all of Gabrielle’s songs. I love Out Of Reach as much as When A Woman, but I noticed that Play To Win lacked a lot of When A Woman kind of tracks and all of Play To Win had very smooth, jazzy, slow tear-jerker type songs. ...Wii Play: I recently hired Wii play from Tesco DVD Rentals to see if I liked it before buying it and I enjoyed it a lot so I thought I would review it for all of you. Wii Play is the kind of game that is great for when you have a group of friends around with several different mini-games to play.
