You had your annuals, and your books about Salem, as well as the Sabrina Hand Book (yes, it was in the shape of a hand!). But the collection that I find the most exciting is the books that tell Sabrina?s stories, focusing on her life rather than say from Salem?s point of view. Although I never read them as a child, over the last few years I have been able to build up my collection, and I must say, I enjoy them incredibly now! In this selection there are a little over fifty numbered books, as well as a few special edition options. Book number # is ?Off to See the Wizard?. Last Chance to See, no scifi but is it funny

Advantages: Informative, funny and makes you think about some issues too.
Disadvantages: Factual, no Arthur Dent or Dirk Gently!

...book, not as funny as his Hitchhikers or Dirk series, but a welcome departure for the late great writer, and a book I would recommend to anyone who likes Adams' writing or is interested in endangered species, it has the best of both worlds, some startling statistics about world conditions and the last chances we have to see some species that are on their last breath, and some funny asides by the best comedy SF writer in the history of everything. Go buy it NOW!...

The Trotters are back where they belong for us all to see

Advantages: A fine story, more great comedy and a brilliant come back for the Trotter clan
Disadvantages: none, (even if they have aged somewhat)

Review of Only Fools And Horses - If They Could See Us Now (DVD)

Last Chance to Read

Advantages: Interesting, informative and thought-provoking
Disadvantages: Seemed short although may be i was just enjoying it.

I finally got around to reading this book just recently (Hence ‘last chance to read’) after being saddened by the death of my writing hero (see my Douglas Adams Op). I wasn’t sure to expect and didn’t expect what I got. This book not only has Douglas Adams and saving endangered species in the same book (I will remind you he originally intended to call HHGG ‘The Ends of the Earth’ as it was going to be about 6 of them), it also has his comedy and some thought provoking comments, mostly about human nature. The most beautiful city in Europe

Advantages: Lots to see and beautiful place
Disadvantages: NA

...This is part of my travel diary on a tour from Contiki. Berlin/Prague/Vienna tour Day 4 We arrived at the manificant city in early evening. After having some dinner, our guide took us out for a city walk. We stayed close to the Wenceslas Square and all the major sights are within walkable distance. We finished the evening at the local pub. English is widely used in here and you can see a lot of influence of UK. We walked passed a big Tesco store and Marks and Spencer in the city centre-I believe this is the first time that I came across these two typical UK brand in a city in Europe. Even though Czech is now part of the EU, similar to the UK, they have not adopted Euro yet. Their local currency is called Crown and apparently they will not start using the Euro until 2020. Things are pretty cheap in Prague-well a good excuse...

Review of Things to see in Prague

Ashes to Ashes series 1 - must see tv

Advantages: A hard act to follow with Life on Mars but it did!
Disadvantages: In my opinion none

...their accident or they are lay in a coma in the present time and they are dreaming. The series then continues with Alex Drakes attempts to piece together various clues she receives from unusual sources which nobody else sees and find her way back home to her daughter. The show has now had two continuous series and there are talks of a third series. ***Honest opinion*** From the start "Ashes to Ashes' had quite a lot to live up to after the instant success of 'Life on Mars'. I personally loved how the series captured the 80's feel it was great to the see the costumes and locations were true to the era. I exceptionally loved the soundtrack and the way each song perfectly fit the each part of the storyline it was used in. The theme tune 'Ashes to Ashes' was again a David Bowie classic which was perfectly chosen. The characters were amazing...

See The Light, and that's through music

Advantages: Good audio, excellent music, heady and EXCELLENT Cover design.
Disadvantages: Lacks variety, music over rides voice.

...Released in April this year See the Light is the second album of The Hours, after the debut in 2007 with Narcissus Road was not that phenomenal but it was definitely a triumph of integrity, a rare thing in contemporary music and mixed anger and intellect with intellect. Their word and songs epitomizes contempt for the status quo existining in the society and all our parts in it. You have to admire the album that smells of lonely bed-sit confessions. In fact only once, on Car Crash does it recall Narcissus Road's introverted pessimism. Anthony Genn is an industry veteran who has the experience of working with Joe Strummer, Pulp and UNKLE and Slattery was on keyboards for Black Grape. But what is important they have retuned their manifesto, they are now a group in 2009 ??..mean(s) what we say. Every note. Every beat. Every syllable...

What Can You See?

Advantages: Encourages participation, teaches children the names of animals
Disadvantages: Some very young children may associate the words with the sounds that animals make!

Seeing Sounds? You What?

Advantages: Very original
Disadvantages: Possibly too experimental at times

..."Seeing Sounds" is the third album by N*E*R*D (Noone Ever Really Dies), who were said to have broken up a couple of years ago. Obviously, the rumours were not true, so Chad Hugo, Shay Haley and Pharrell Williams return with their Hip Hop-influenced Funk Rock music, but they are not concerned about rigidly sticking to any genre. Hugo and Pharrell make up The Neptunes, one of the biggest names in music production in any genre. Their beat making has been hear across the board from Hip Hop, to Pop, to R&B, and towards the end of the ninties and start of the '00s they managed to dominate airwaves with their distinctive spacey beats being heard everywhere. Advantages: good entertainment and some funny scenes

...with Dave hearing nothing, only seeing a long legged lady leaving the store and Wally seeing nothing but hearing the gunshot and an exchange of voices the pair must stick together to prove their innocence. As the pair flee from the law, trying to prove their innocence by tracking down the real killer little do they realise that the real killers, Eve, (played by Joan Severance) and Kirgo, (played by Kevin Spacey), are looking for them. The chase goes on. **IN CONCLUSION** Not the greatest of movies but the repartee between Pryor and Wilder can be hilarious.
