...This box-set DVD collection of the much loved British comedy, "To The Manor Born" is a great set. It includes all three series of this marvellous comedy from the 1970s and includes some great extra features such as cast interviews and commentaries. It is presented in a neat storage box and allows one to keep all three DVD boxes tidy and together. "To The Manor Born" tells the story of the upper-class Audrey fforbes-Hamilton and her life as she is forced to sell her beloved ancestral home "Grantleigh Manor." The new owner, Richard DeVere and Audrey soon bevelop a love-hate relationaship which is concluded brilliantly at the end of the three series. A truely British comedy which will have one laughing most sincerely and thoroughly recommended....

Disadvantages: Not laugh out loud funny

...Audrey fforbes-Hamilton is not exactly devastated when her husband, the owner of Grantleigh Manor, dies, thinking that she finally will have full control of the estate. But then she discovers that her husband hadn't been entirely truthful with her and in fact was practically bankrupt before his death. Advantages: One of my top-ten Britcoms, an oh-so-British experience

...'To the Manor Born' is one of the better Brit-coms, witty and intelligent without being over-the-top or inaccessible. It has an oh-so-British tone to it, deliberately so, as it looks with grace and humour at the clash of cultures in modern Britain, the clash between tradition and modernity (finding out that neither is always what it seems), as well as the clash between social classes. ...Bosstones so that I can listen to Craig peddle his tripe and hopefully find some small part of this dire album that will inject some positivity into this "op". Born to Run - The Boss spreads his wings

...So, after 30 odd years, how does the Boss' rock and roll defining album stand up? Fantastically well, if the truth be told. Springsteen transformed himself from a Boho Dylan-esque songwriter into a full on rock god with the minimum of fuss. Album opener 'Thunder Road' is still the best thing he ever penned, a anthem for every dreamer that still dreams of just getting away from everything that holds them down, "It's a town full of losers, we're pulling out of here to win". The surprisingly funky 'Tenth Avenue Freeze Out' follows, before launching into the manic 'Night'. The title track still bears a passable and somewhat unfortunate resemblance to Meatloaf, but still has a great power and message - And acts as a accompaniment to Thunder Road. Advantages: Its got a choice of inlay colours!
Disadvantages: Boring, repetative and plain.

...I brought Craig Davids new album because I was bored. I have now given the album away to a frind because it is so crap! It has 12 songs, which are all virtually the same. The only slightly decent song on there is re-wind and maybe 7 day. All the others were either too slow or didn't go anywhere, they were just really repetitive. next time I buy an album out of boredom, I won't listen to what people recommend. Also, Craig David has printed his peanut head all over the inlay which makes it even worse! Don't buy this, ure better of dieing!...

...Craig David well what can you say about him? Theres a lot to think about him i was amazed when i first seen him come out. Hes got the looks and the voice, what a talant he has been given. Class is the word that would totally describe him. If some people didnt like him then i really wouldnt see why i mean his voice is just totally brilliant and you can understand every word that he is saying even though he can sing kind of fast. I am the kind of person who doesnt go mostly for a looks in the singer as i care much more about the voice of the person. Any ways this is one of my favourite albums i listen to it quite a lot lol and i never get sick of it.
