Effective easy to use wax strips

...I find these ready to use wax strips the best on the market. I have tried several and these are definitely the best for me. I tend to use the one for sensitive skin, even though I don't have sensitive skin, just because I think it will hurt less! It does hurt a little when I wax but every time I do it, it gets easier. I must be de-sensitising! The strips contain vitamin E and Almon oil to moisturise your skin and I have never once known my skin to dry out after using them so I guess these ingredients do their job. There are 20 strips in a packet and 4 finishing wipes that are very oily but remove any waxy gubbins that are left on your skin. My favourite thing about these is the fact that you can use them on short hair so you don't have to turn into a gorilla before you can wax. On the downside, I find they always leave...

Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips - Not such a Perfect Finish!

Advantages: Nice smell, areas where hair WAS removed felt silky soft, wipes do remove excess wax
Disadvantages: Too many areas where hair WASN'T removed, price, speed, pain

...Hi... Thought I'd share my (very recent) experience of Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips. Just to make clear now, the strips I used were part of the pink Complete Body Kit, consisting of 20 leg strips, 12 bikini/underarm strips, and 4 Perfect Finish wipes, and claiming to be effective on hair as short as 2mm. I'm 17 years old, normal, and to be honest, quite an optimist, so this is the first almost negative review I've given anything. The 'satisfactory' was moved up from a 'poor' because I felt mean! Usually, I'd use Veet cream (works like magic, if you're wondering) , but as I was in Boots to stock up these caught my eye. They were on a discount, and I'd wanted to try waxing, so I thought I'd give it a go. They cost me around £4-5, which, believe it or not, was half price. Veet Ready To Use Hair Removal Wax Strips - Sensitive Skin

Advantages: Smooth legs, good for money, good for sensitive skin, easy, not THAT painful
Disadvantages: doesn't get rid of those tiny, stubborn hairs! not enough strips

...As most women, I hate the hassle of shaving my legs all the time to find that they're already prickly the next day and as I'm going on holiday in less than a week, I wanted something that would last longer, so, I bought some Veet Wax Strips! I've suffered from eczema all my life and it's dyed down however my skin is still sensitive so I bought the pack especially for Sensitive Skin. I sat down, gulped some wine, warmed the wax strip up like instructed and put it on my leg. When I came to pull it off I was too hesitant and slow so it was completely ineffective! So, I tried again and pulled off the waxstrip quickly! Veet ready to use wax strips

...Mess free and Fuss free, expensive to use all the time, but ideal for those summer moths and holidays. Besides all this they are a cheaper andfar less painful option to the salon experience. I use them every summer and holiday and won't use anything else. It's a fairly good price not too painful and quick and easy to use, you can't ask for more. You are even left with silky soft skin and hair free (providing you useit properly). I even managed to convince my sister to use it, and she's a complete wimp when it comes to these kinds of things, now she uses it all the time too, probably more than me as she's always going on holidays. All in all a great buy that you can't live without....

...I first saw this product on a television advert. I was a 'wax virgin', shaving everyday to keep my stubble at bay. I was keen to try these so I went to my local boots and bought some that day. I have no clue how expensive they were, but I don't suppose they were very much at all (maybe around £6?). When I got home, I read the instructions a few times so I was sure I knew what I was doing. It seemed simple enough; Smooth the wax strip onto your skin in the direction of the hair growth, hold the skin taut and pull in the oposite direction. Sounds simple, right? It probably would have if it actually worked, but it didn't. If it was skin I was trying to remove I think I would have been more successful. About 4 strands of hair came out. And it wasn't painless like the advert suggests. Definately not. It hurt, and while I was expecting...

Ready to use....not ready for hair!!

Advantages: No messing about with smoothing on wax with a spatula.
Disadvantages: Doesn't remove hair that is short- despite what the packaging says.

Bought from Wilkinsons for around £4 which I thought was expensive but my reasoning was well the adverts say they work.... Ok here goes... The packaging is bright yellow and enticing and says on the back: Quick and easy to use Yes they are quite quick and easy to use, just get the strip (2 stuck together) and rub with hands until warm, peel from each other then apply to leg....no smoothing hot wax and getting it everywhere, great!!! Long lasting results Well yes, the hairs that the strips did actually remove stayed away for about 4 weeks. Effective even on short hair. WRONG! I used them on my legs and even though the back says you can use them on 2mm hair, all I was left with was wax stuck on my legs and about 5 hairs removed...

...off. This is ready to use wax and there is no heating it up, it is so simple and easy to use. The strips are organised so that two strips are stuck together (wax side to wax side) but are easy enough to pull apart. It is designed so that there will be no wax leaking or exposed wax. I think it is quite clever and economic that they are packaged in this way, but if you only want to use one strip (for some reason) then you would either just have to use the other strip, or throw it away.. or put it in a cupboard face up so that nothing would get stuck on it! The wax is really sticky so you have to be quite careful not to touch the actual wax as you are pulling them apart or applying them to your skin. Each strip is about 20cm long and 10 cm wide. The wax doesn't go all the way to the edges so there is room for you to grab hold of the end...

...I found the wii a great console to play on. The whole family can ejoy this console as it is easy to use and you can play up to 4 players i believe. The graphics are good however mayb not as good as the playstation 3 or the xbox 360. But the rock bottom price of this console really makes up for that. I found the internet use of this console very good interestingly and i also found the packs that you can by to add on too the wii very good. I found the wii fit and mario karts to be very good games for this console. The only downside to this console is maybe the gaming graphics but the gameplay more than makes up for it. I purchsed this console when it first was released and the price has drop even more now so i would suggest to purchase one as soon as possible. I give the wii 4/5....

...I don't actually own this product but borrowed one of the cameras for my unversity course to do a review, and when I was there I took some pictures using this camera and while I was using it I couldn't believe how easy it was to use. One of the main features on the camera was that it was a 10 mega pixel camera which means the pictures will be very clear. I use a 5mega pixel camera for just going out and about (The one on my phone) and I think that this is enough so I was very impressed that it was a 10 mega pixel. Sometimes I find that cameras can be quite hard to use but the buttons were clear and visible even to people who have bad sight. I loved using this product and was reluctant to give it back. All of the camera's I saw when I was looking around to buy one were priced around teh £80.00 mark which is good value I feel...
