...I read a few reviews on 27 dresses saying that it is an average film or it is a good film. When I saw the DVD in Tesco for a few pounds (2-3 as I remember) so I decided to buy it and give it a go. I wasn?t expected a drama I knew it will be a chick flick so I just enjoyed the development of the film.
27 Dresses is a romantic comedy directed by Anne Fletcher (Step Up, The Proposal). The screenplay was written by Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada). The film was released in January 2008. The running time is 111 minutes and the classification is 12 years and older.

Review of 27 Dresses (DVD)
...27 Dresses is a 2008 romantic comedy, starring Katherine Heigl and James Marsden, and was directed by Anne Fletcher. Jane has always been the bridesmaid and never the bride, she?s obsessed with weddings and has in fact been a bridesmaid 27 times, hence the title of the film. When she?s attending two different weddings on the same night, she bumps into Kevin, a cynic who manages to write the most romantic weddings at the same time. At the same time, she?s hopelessly in love with her boss, then her sister arrives back in town and somehow is engaged to her boss within the month. Jane is shocked, how will she ever win over George now? And how will things go with Kevin? What will her 28th dress be?
The cast is good, but nothing special. Katherine Heigl plays Jane, the main character in the film who?s looking for love but finds it somewhere...

Advantages: Good storyline , James Marsden, funny Disadvantages: NONE!
...I recently saw 27 dresses at the cinema and thought it was a really good movie. It's the best movie I've seen in a long time. When I first saw the adverts for it , and read the reviews in magazines , I knew it would be a good film. I was glad I was right too , because my predictions of the last movie I'd seen , St Trinians was wrong - I thought it looked good , but it turned out to be an awful film in my opinion. However I am not here to review St Trinians , I am here to review 27 dresses. So here we go....

...As i am at the moment planning my own wedding and looking at ideas a friend i think joking told me to watch 27 dresses so me being me got on to love film and rented it and oh i am so glad this is why

Advantages: Lovely packaging. Gives deifinition and length to eyelashes. Disadvantages: Some may say the cost!

'We've gone to great lengths to make sure you have the longest and thickest lashes'
~ Does the mascara live up to it's promise?~
Well it all depends on who you are comparing your lashes with as to whether you have the longest and thickest ones!
But what I must say is that it certainly extends and defines my lashes. I have naturally black eyelashes anyway, not short or particularly long so this mascara really does work by making them look thicker and longer.
Another thing in this mascara's favour is the fact that it doesn't 'clag' when you apply it which I find many have done in the past, leaving black bits of gunk on eyelashes so that you have to start all over again!
~ How long does it last?~
I've had this for 2 months now and there is no sign of it it clagging up or running out. Granted I only use...

...I watched this film last night after renting it from Lovefilm.com. A number of people I knew who had seen it had suggested that it was very funny and worth watching, so I thought I would get in on the act ans see what all the fuss was about.

...Incredible Lengths Mascara
My fiancé’s mum use to get the Avon book and I happened to be round there when the Avon book was deliver, this was 4 years ago and I order this mascara called Incredible Lengths and I was expecting it to be just like all the rest of mascaras run when you cry, leave big clumps of mascara on your eyelashes and your eyelashes to stick together but it was the total opposite to all of this, in fact it did none of this so I was well please as you can imagine.
The thing I like about this mascara is that it stays on and lasts all day. When applying this mascara it makes your eyelashes seem a bit longer, which makes you feel good about using it as you can see a result afterwards. I also like the way it goes on evenly I guess this is to do with the bristles of the brush as you get all sorts of brushes...
Advantages: Very popular with young children Disadvantages: No lift-the-flap opportunities
...Maisy is a sweet little white mouse, with a pink tail, nose, ears and paws.
She isn't a 'regular' sort of mouse as she wears clothes, sleeps in a bed, brushes her teet and much, much more!
The books in this series really appeal to young children, as Maisy does everything that they can relate to.
~ The story ~
Not surprisingly, this book is all about Maisy dressing up, a pastime that is very popular with pre-school children.
The story begins with Maisy receiving an invitation to her friend's fancy dress party. Not sure as to what to wear, she looks in her dressing up box where there are lots of options: a pirate, a queen, a king or a firefighter.
The problem is that she knows her friends are wearing these costumes so she decides to make a special costume.

...?Well Dressed? is one of my staple blushes from Mac and I always have one in use. This is a great blush for everyday use because it is a subtle colour, giving a hint of pink to the cheeks, so it can compliment most make up styles. ?Well Dressed? is a pale pink, if you swipe your finger over the pressed powder then you get a small covering on pink, which is great because it means this is not at all overpowering on the cheeks. In fact I think it is practically impossible to mess the application of this blush up! This is a slight shimmer blush, when you move it in the light you can see some specs of sparkle, I?m hesitant to call it glitter because it is too fine, however it is important to note that this gives the blusher a slight light catching ability when being worn. Again this is not at all overpowering.

...I had read Adrian Mole when I was younger but couldnt really remember it so I decided to give it another go. especially when I realised there are other books in the series.
I am so glad I did as there are things in the book that I dont think I would have "got" as a child. He has got to be one of the funniest characters I have ever read about in a a fiction book. He is innocent and wise, observant and obsessed with himself, dumb and a genius.
Adrian lets the reader peep into his world through his diary. Aged 13 3/4 he strongly feels he is a 'misunderstood intellectual' and spends most of his time reading.
He spends some of his time taking care of a stubborn old man called Bert Baxter & his dog Sabre. He also complains of being malnourished and blames his parents for all his pimples. It upsets him when his mother leaves him...
