TOILET DUCK ACTIVE
Review of Toilet Duck (toilet cleaner) by
royaljaz
Advantages: cleans very well
Disadvantages: none
...I love my toilet duck. It comes with different fragrances and the bottles are different colours. There is 750ml in a bottle. Toilet duck active provides a complete hygiene product for you toilet and leaves it really clean and smelling nice above the water line.
It kills germs, cleans thoroughly, attacks the lime scale that gets on your toilet and has a long lasting fragrance that not only makes your toilet smell nice but your whole bathroom, and even your other rooms because the fragrance floats round your house.
It has an angled neck so that you get right under the rim of your toilet so it cleans there as well then as it drips down the inside of your toilet it will start to work under the water line getting rid of lime scale.
I use it twice a day once in the morning and once at night. All you have to do is lift your toilet seat...

Going quackers for toilet duck (sorry)
Review of Toilet Duck (toilet cleaner) by
pink_champagne
Advantages: cheap, effective
Disadvantages: smell slightly overpowering
...A while ago I bought some of those cheap and nasty cistern blocks, and after a few weeks of use they turned the inside of my toilet blue. This, according to my boyfriend, was because the blue dye was clinging to limescale.
I tried using a pine toilet cleaner from Somerfield, but that didn't work, and although scrubbing the toilet incessantly got rid of some of the blue, it was still noticeably there, especially on the sides.
I went to Wilkinson's to try and find a solution. I had seen a toilet cleaner on an advert that said it didn't just bleach the limescale like some cleaners do, but it actually gets rid of it. I couldn't remember which one it was, but my boyfriend insisted it was toilet duck - I'm still not sure if he's right, but that's the one we went for anyway.

toilet duck punishes the germs loitering in my loo
Review of Toilet Duck (toilet cleaner) by
sallydom
Advantages: smells great and kills germs
Disadvantages: none
...Its a dirty job, but someones got to do - cleaning the loo. The thought of all those germs multiplying and festering away in the bowl and being spread around the room flush after flush is enough to have nightmares when you have toddlers, so i do rather demand a good loo cleaning product. I have used many different incarnations of domestos, harpic and own brands loo cleaners/bleach in my never ending battle against toilet germs but have found toilet duck to be the best.
This is the fresh variety of toilet germ that comes in a 750ml green plastic bottle and costs around £1.00 in most good shops. The bottles states that it kills 99.9 of germs, removes limescale and leaves the loo clean and fresh. The bottle gives directions and precautions for the using the product on the back of the bottle.
What sets this product out from the rest...

Use the Duck to clean your toilet!
Review of Toilet Duck Ultra Gel with micro-scrubs by
llyffantcoch
Advantages: Great shape and a fresh smell
Disadvantages: It is very difficult to open the bottle
...Whilst I was at my local supermarket one day I came across the Toilet Duck Ultra Gel with Micro-scrubs and thought that the bottle looked very funky -it is curved at the top and therefore decided to buy it to give it a go. THey came in different colours and smells so I bought a blue and an orange one. It wasn't very expensive at all- if I can remember correctly it was less than £1.
First of all, I tried to open the lid. There is a child sfety lid on it so I found it very difficult indeed - it took about 5 minute in total for me to actually open the bottle! The way the bottle has been designed made it very easu to apply- the curved end was able to fit neatly under the rim of the toilet so the product was able to reach the most awkward areas. You can actually see the micro-scrubs as you pour it into the toilet. The liquid is quite thick...

Duck! I'm flying to the loo!
Review of Toilet Duck Ultra Gel with micro-scrubs by
Louise90
Advantages: Good price. Smells nice.
Disadvantages: None
...Sometimes we tend to forget about the toilet. We make sure we clean everything else, but the poor old toilet sometimes gets forgotten. And this is the place that really needs the most cleaning - especially after the male member of the family has been sitting on it for half an hour or so!
So, when shopping in Asda the other day I noticed 'Toilet Duck Ultra Gel with micro-scrubs'. For a 750 ml bottle it cost £0.97p. Not bad, eh?! The fragrance is 'Pacific Breeze'. This is brought to you by SC Johnson.
The plastic bottle is clear so you can see the contents. There is a picture of a white duck on the front. On the back are the instructions of use, contact details and a bit about the ultra gel.
The gel is light blue in colour. You can see in the liquid tiny little bubbles which, I presume, are the micro scrubs. It...

Duck under the rim!
Review of Toilet Duck (toilet cleaner) by
neenn
Advantages: Kills germs & helps remove limescale if left on long enough.
Disadvantages: Scrubbing action still required!
...I rarely buy things like this, usually just stick to good old domestos, rubber gloves, a brillo pad and hand action but in my recent visit to Costco I saw this pack of 3 for which I assumed would be cheaper than general supermarkets but have since found out they weren't!
- Price -
This retails in Tesco for 82p, yet I paid 84p per bottle. Robbed by a huge sum of 2p per bottle.
- Packaging & Available Fragrances / Types -
As stated earlier I got a pack with 3 different fragrances / names to them:
* Green bottle ~ 'Fresh'
* Blue bottle ~ 'Ocean'
On both of these bottles it states:
' Hygienic cleaner, removes dirt, descales and destroys odours'.
* White bottle ~ 'Toilet Descaler' This bottle states:
'cleans, freshens and removes limescale'.
All 3 bottles are the same size, 750ml and have the same great curved neck...

It totally changed my life
Review of Toilet Duck (toilet cleaner) by
judithritchie
Advantages: smells great, does a great great job, childproof packaging, excellent ergonomical packaging
Disadvantages: it took me a while to find the nearest supermarket
...I'm running a bit behind in posting my opinion on Toilet Duck, which was written as part of a challenge with Louise Read (squiggles). Sorry Lou and everyone else, but in a way I am glad I am late because in the last few days I have had an experience with Toilet Duck which has changed my life, changing my previous opinion a little.
How exactly can Toilet Duck change your life, you may ask! Good question! Well, I recently bought a house in Sheffield and last weekend the sale finally went through and I got the keys. I could not get into that house fast enough, so the next day I loaded my dad's car up with the first load of stuff and off we went. I had a 3-piece suite and some other pieces of furniture to be delivered in the next few days, so I got to work at making a cosy home in my new house. This started with cleaning.
The house...

the easy way to clean your loo
Review of Toilet Duck (toilet cleaner) by
stexe
Advantages: kills germs, smell great, shifts limescale
Disadvantages: ineffective below waterline clean
...i usually use any type of loo cleaner or bleach for the toilets depending whats on offer. yesterday i picked up a 2 for 1 offer on toilet duck. this is useful i thought as i would now have a bottle for both the upstairs and downstairs loo. i picked up a 750ml ocean force (blue bottle) and fresh (green bottle) variety each. the bottle costs about £0.90p from most supermarkets and is easily recognisable amongst the other loo cleaners and bleaches.
the bottle states on the front that toilet duck kills 99.9% of germs, attacks limescale and cleans. according to the back of the bottle it says toilet duck liquid provides complete hygiene for your toilet, leaving it clean and fresh, 100% better limescale removal above the waterline, cleans & freshens, unique angled neck reaches right under the rim, thick formula clings to the bowl...

Where did i put my Harpic...
Review of Toilet Duck (toilet cleaner) by
wilsam00
Advantages: See Opinion
Disadvantages: See Opinion.
...I was using Duck toilet cleaner for since I moved out of my parent’s house. I found it to be one of the most strongest and most efficient ways of removing all germs and bad smells that occur from time to time in the loo.
Value.
This product is very good value for money. It’s a little more expensive than Harpic in my local store because it’s a well-known product. It can be found from as little as £1.70 which is good value for money but quite poor comparing the two, Harpic and Duck. I used to use this night on average every other night, I used to leave it in the loo over night and flush it way in the morning so a bottle lasted a week or two.
Bottle.
The scent I used was the Citrus scent, which is the only one to be found in my local store. The bottle is bright orange, which is unusual for a citrus product...
