...Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas is the fifth chronological game in the Rainbow Six series of computer games. It was released for the Xbox 360 on November 21, 2006 and Windows on December 12, 2006. The PSP version was released on June 12, 2007 for North America and Europe, while the PlayStation 3 version was released on June 26, 2007. The game's storyline follows a new Rainbow team that is dispatched to Las Vegas, Nevada to defeat Irena Morales' (internationally wanted terrorist) massive army of mercenaries that is repeatedly attacking key locations in the city. ...Rainbow Six Vegas 2 was the first game that i purchased for Xbox 360. Now i have to say, I am not one for first person shooters, but when were talking about this game i have a whole different view point. I was expecting an extremely dissapointing experience but it was quite the opposite. The graphics of this game are some of the best I have ever seen on a games console and it is an extremely realistic game unlike other first person shooters such as Halo 3. This game is one of the best i have ever played online which meant I was completely addicted. It has a well laid out story line which is not complicated and monotonous which i have found to be the let down in most other first person shooters. ...Rainbow Six Vegas - XBOX 360 this has got to be the best rainbow six to date, from what i have heard on all platforms, but from my own experience, on the xbox 360 it beats the others i have played. There are so many rainbow six games out there, but this is definately on another level. The idea, is a shoot em up, following a team through a wide variety of levels, with a great story. Its a reasonable difficulty, with good fun trying to achieve ranks online. But the best part, of this game to me is the interaction with your team mates, the way you can instruct them to do a huge variety of tasks i think is brilliant, storming doors, with options of clearing, breach and clear, moce in silently, i think its great Multiplayer is good fun, and the things you unlock, are great, the different combinations you can have with your... ...Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is actually a really good game! The graphics are some of the best I have ever seen, and the controls are really easy to use. The storyline is very realistic and runs on from Rainbow Six Vegas very smoothly. I was really impressed with all the functions there are, and the amount of flexibility there is in the way which you do the missions. The only one fault is its similarity to the first game, Rainbow Six Vegas. The two are barely indistinguishable from each other, apart from the chronology of the story line. Other than that, it is an absolutley great game. The graphics are really sharp, and the most minute details of the characters and environment have been taken into account by the makers. ...I couldn't wait for Rainbow six Vegas 2 to arrive when it was released on the 21st March. I had pre-ordered the limited edition steel book version from play.com at the price of £39.99. The steel book case is very well presented and worth the price, most games are £39.99 anyway so I was on to a winner getting the limited edition version. After taking off the wrapper, the case had a cardboard sleeve around it, after slipping it off revealing the metal case I was really pleased with how good the steel case looked. On opening the case I was surprised again, what I didn't know was that the limited edition game came with a bonus DVD. I'm not one for spending time reading instructions before I start playing games, the good thing about games like Rainbow six is that they are not complicated in anyway.
