...I use TomTom Navigator 6 with my mobile phone - MDA. I have also tested nearly all other software for navigation so i will try to compare. TomTom has the best menu navigation - it has only 5 items menu so it is possible to browse in menus when you are driving even if you have got a small display on your PDA. The menus are simple and it is very easy to adjust something very fast. Maps for TomTom are made not by countries as it is normally done by the others but by packs of countries so you dont need to switch maps so often. On the other hand if you choose igo2006 for example you can have all the maps at once and then no need to switch anything - there brings TomTom some difficulties when you are passing borders between two map sectors. Advantages: easy to use

...the tom tom rider... never again get lost on a bike, scooter etc.. this excellent piece of kit fits simply onto the top of a conventional motorbike's front forks or can be attached to a scooter fairing/screen with some simply modification and being only around a kg or so its very light so theres no real risk of breaking anything when attaching the device... once attached your ready to navigate to anywhere you please.. but its gonna rain.. navigation over right?? wrong the tom tom rider is water resistant so can be used in pretty much all conditions.. even in direct sunlight the anti glare screen is easy to see and use.. getting directions from the device happens through a wireless bluetooth headset that you wear inside your helmet.. this headset can also be used to answer voice calls from you mobile phone as the device also routes calls... ...The Tom-Tom GO 500 offers a lot of functions for what it costs. the screen is of a good size, and it has a crisp, clear picture. the touch screen capability allows you to quickly and easily navigate the menu and select the many options. the GPS it uses is very up to date and as yet, it hasn't directed us down a road that no longer goes where we are headed. however, the Tom-Tom does take a while to adjust its navigations and will persitently try and make you turn around when possible, which can get rather annoying. however, as this only generally happens when you choose shortcuts as you know where you are going, it is not generally a problem, as you don't need a GPS system to get you to the local shops do you?
