  Saving me money at Wilkinsons

Advantages: Saves me spending money on things I dont really need
Disadvantages: Make sure your order everything you need.

...I love to go shopping in Wilkinson's, however it does cause me a few problems. I go in for one item and come out with three carrier bags full of goodies. Two bags hanging from the pushchair handles and one bag placed in the pushchair, telling my daughter that its good for her to walk! Nasty Mother. Anything on offer and I'll buy it, this most of the time tends to be a waste of money as these things sit in my cupboards gathering dust only then to be given away to friends or the local charity shop. ...When I first went into a wilkinson store about 2 years ago I thought it was going to be full of cheap junk, however to my surprise as I walked through the door I was greeted by a friendly member of staff and a toiletries section with very good prices, I carried on round the store, I was actually after some windscreen washer for the car but I couldn't find it so I went to the help desk and asked where abouts it was kept and the girl on there got another member of staff to walk me accross to the product to save me time. Ever since that day I have found it a pleasure to shop at wilkinson. There prices are always lower than my local supermarket, the staff are much friendlier and always happy to advise or simply take you to a product. ...I cannot visit town without going to the Wilkinson store. It is worth going in just to speak to the friendly staff. The store is very well setout and always able to find the thing you need without any trouble. I am disabled and the help that is offered to me is unbeatable, plus the store is easy to negotiate. If I need somethingI cannot see it is no problem for the staff to go to the stock room. I recommend Wilkinson stores to anyone, they are next to none. The prices are good, but in some cases can be beaten, but if you can find cheaper they will refund the differece, plus if you return goods just becase you have changed your mind or had second thoughts they will refund your money without question. The store is always clean and tidy, friendly and inexpensive, there is no tat as someone has said. The items they sell are numerus, all...

TomTom really have the market sussed

Advantages: Great customisation features, big clear screen, easy to use
Disadvantages: Battery life, no wall charger included

...believe you can attach headphones to it so not to attract attention to yourself with the spoken instructions! This versions of the TomTom includes the latest maps of the UK & Ireland. You can get some TomTom's which have maps of Europe in them, but as I'm not planning on road trip around Europe anytime soon I went for the UK & Ireland version. Another big factor on choosing this one was the fact that the Europe edition was £80 more expensive at the time & after checking just now I noticed they haven't changed in price as I presumed they would have done either. The TomTom Go 520 has a 4.3" touch screen, this is bigger than a lot of the competition brands of sat nav & one more reason I went for the TomTom.
