...Sorry to anyone who saw this recipe in snacks; I somehow managed to replace it with my cheese and chilli biscuits and can't put two recipes in snacks (how do I do that?). A simple recipe for simple shortbread

...anyway. Oh prick it first- that?s what the fork was for. Now this was the tricky part- the oven. The recipe required the oven be at 180. We have a fan assisted oven, much better than the LRH?s piece of junk. Unfortunately it?s too good, it burns things before they?re had a chance to cook. To prevent burning I was supposed to put foil on after the first 15 minutes but after the first 10 it was burning already â?¹ When it was finally cooked- albeit a bit browner than it should be, I cut it into pieces, only there were not 35, less than 20 really, but they were quite big anyway and a bit thicker than it should be. After letting it cool in the fridge for a bit, me and Laila both had some. It tasted very nice, a bit softer than it should be I think, but still a success none the less Would I recommend doing this? grow your own tomatoes

Advantages: great to grow indoors
Disadvantages: dont like the cold

...Tomatoes are not realy a fruit you can grow in the open due to our cold british weather we need to grow our tomatoes in a greenhouse. I dont usually plant mine untill early may as the frost will definatley kill them. I use grow bags to grow the tomatoes in as they dont require a lot of soil as there roots are not too large but the plant itself does get to around 6 foot tall. I space 3 plants along my grow bag, one at each end and one in the middle. I have never attempted to grow a tomato plant from seed as i always buy mine from a garden center as a baby plant. As tomatoes are very heavy they tend to pull the plant over so i tie mine to the poles in my greenhouse to stop this happening with garden string. There is no mistaking when your tomatoes are ready to eat as they will be hanging off the plant, green to begin...

Tesco Value Tinned Chopped Tomatoes

Advantages: A basic stock cupboard accessory
Disadvantages: Nothing more!

...'d expect there's nothing else - anything extra such as added salt would be heavily criticised by the masses for such a basic product. When opening the tin, the product can look a little bit too watery, but obviously when mixed in with a recipe, the heat of cooked will evaporate the additional water and not hinder the outcome. A full 400 gram tin comes to approximately 68 calories, so hardly a diet breaker either. At this point, people often tend to leave a recipe in which to include the product...but lets be honest, if you can't think of one for something such as Tesco Value Chopped Tomatoes, then I wouldn't bother buying it!...

For anyone that has read my opinions before, you will know that I love to cook as it is one thing that I am really good at. I thought for this one I would share with you a few of my recipes.
