Tommee Tippee Bottle and Teat Brush
Review of Tommee Tippee Feeding Bottle by
krazykat2005
Advantages: cleans all kinds of bottles and teats, available in a wide rage of shops
Disadvantages: broke very quickly so not great value for money
...Tommee Tippee Bottle and Teat Brush
One of the essential bits of equipment you are going to need if you choose to bottlefeed your child is a bottle brush. These are used to clean the hard to reach areas of bottles, teats and other feeding equipment such as a breast pump or formula storage containers. It is also recommended that as well as washing everything in hot, soapy water that you also sterilise all feeding equipment for at least six months to a year.
My mum chose this particular bottle brush as she had already bought me the Tommee Tippee bottles as well.
- A bit about Tommee Tippee -
Launched in 1965 and based in the north east of England, Tommee Tippee is the UK's longest established baby product brand. They were the first to produce a leakproof cup, a staywarm plate and a bottle that lets you know that the feed...

Tommee Tippee Bottle Brush
Review of Tommee Tippee Feeding Bottle by
KazzaBlack
Advantages: Cleans bottle well
Disadvantages: Breaks really easily
...Tomme Tippee Bottle brush
When choosing a bottle brush to wash your babies bottles it is not exactly something that you are really bothered about as long as it cleans the bottles thats all that matters.
I purchased a Tommee tippee Bottle brush it is double ended so there is a little brush on the opposite end for the teats which i find very useful for £2.49. But after two weeks of using the bottle brush it snapped in half i thought i had been using too much elbow grease and went and bought another one exactly the same thing happened about 6 weeks later this time, again went and bought another one, I gave up buying the tommee tippee bottle brush after the 9th one as they all snapped everytime.
Even though the brush does give you the desired effect and gets the bottle gleaming it is not very durable....

Tommee Tippee 'Closer to nature' bottles
Review of Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Feeding Bottles by
levin
Advantages: Easy to switch from bottle to breast, Easy to clean, Anti-colic teats
Disadvantages: Can't think of anything bad to say about these bottles
...I gave birth to twins earlier this year and was adamant that i wanted to try to breastfeed them, however i knew that with twins it was going to be difficult and that there were going to be some occasions where i may need to use a bottle. With this in mind i decided i needed a bottle which would enable my children to switch between the bottle and the breast with relative ease.
I was immediately drawn to the Tommee Tippee bottles because of their name 'Closer to nature'. The teat is actually designed to mimic the breast and to allow the baby to latch on as they would with a nipple. I did initially start to breastfeed my babies - but felt that they weren't getting enough milk and i had to top up with formula - i have to say, the Closer to Nature bottles were an absolute godsend. My babies were able to switch between the breast...

Tommee Tippee Healthcheck Bottles - Godsend
Review of Tommee Tippee Feeding Bottle by
georgiasmam
Advantages: Helps Colic and Reflux problems that babies sometimes get
Disadvantages: Bit expensive
......... nothing worked.
When my health visitor came round to check on her progress, I explained my concern and she recommended buying Dr Browns bottles and trying them out. I live in a small village and the only place they sell Dr Browns bottles is in Mothercare which is a good 45 minutes drive from my home. Instead, I went to Tesco which is just around the corner to see if they had them there.
My Tesco didn't sell them, but they did sell these Tommee Tippee Healthcheck bottles which appeared to be similar to Dr Browns.
After just one use of them, I noticed my baby was feeding so much better. I was so happy because I felt that it was my fault that she wasn't feeding properly before.
The Health Check bottle is different to normal bottles on the market as the vent system prevents your baby from taking in any air during feeding, which...

tommee tippee closer to nature bottles
Review of Tommee Tippee Feeding Bottle by
zoey18822
Advantages: anti colic
Disadvantages: none
...i bought tommee tippee closer to nature bottle when my son was born they are designed to make feeding time easier and more comfortable for you and your baby. There are 3 different ways in which you can hold the bottle, cradled in the hand, held lightly at the bottom of the base or held like a traditional wide neck bottle but i found holding it at the neck of the bottle easier when i was feeding. the bottles come with slow teats which is designed to mimic the natural flex, feel and movement of a mum's breast you can also get a medium flow teat and fast flow teats for these aswell as your baby gets older. they have designed this teat so that the transition from breast to bottle is easier as the baby is able to latch on to both in the same way. this bottles also has a teat with an anti colic valve on the side of the teat designed...

Heat Sensing Bottles - Waste of Money?
Review of Tommee Tippee Wide Necked Heat Sensing Bottles by
krazykat2005
Advantages: Anti-colic design, Sealed teat ideal for travel, Suitable for all forms of sterilisation
Disadvantages: Heat sensor a bit superfluous, Lid can be a bit difficult to remove
...Bottles are an essential piece of equipment when it comes to formula feeding your baby. Choosing which bottle to use can be a potential minefield as there are just so many about these days. Fortunately my mum made the decision for me when she bought me four Tommee Tippee wide necked heat sensing bottles whilst I was pregnant. To date I have been using these bottles for four months.
-- PRODUCT DESCRIPTION --
These are wide necked, hourglass shaped bottles with a capacity for in excess of nine ounces (260mls) of milk. The shape apparently makes the bottles more comfortable to hold and easier to clean than your standard narrow necked bottle. They have a heat sensing oval on one side which tells you whether the feed is either "W" for when it is too warm, or "OK" for when the temperature is within an acceptable range for feeding...

Hitting The Bottle!
Review of Tommee Tippee Feeding Bottle by
newby2
Advantages: cheaper than Avent
Disadvantages: a few things...
...Tommee Tippee Closer to nature Bottles
The moment I saw these bottles I thought that they looked really smart and as I had an Amazon voucher to spend I thought I would invest in a couple and see how they faired compared to the more widely used baby bottles made by Avent. I already had a few Avent bottles given to me from a friend and I just had to buy some new teats for them so comparing the two was easy.
I paid around £10 for three of these Tommee Tippee bottles that hold 260ml and that price includes the postage and packaging costs, minus that it would have cost around £8. Now this compared to Avent is probably slightly cheaper as I have recent bought some of my own large Avent Bottles and I paid £15 for four from Boots, so buying Avent it works out a little more expensive.
These Tommee Tippee bottles are called...

TOMMEE TIPPEE 6 COMPACT MILK POWDER DISPENSERS
Review of Tommee Tippee Milk Powder Dispenser by
kismet
Advantages: simple to use, space saving
Disadvantages: dont really hold 8 scoops
...I have just had my first baby and despite trying my hardest to breast feed I have just not got on with it so had to purchase all the bottles and things to enable me to feed at home and also whilst out and about.
I purchased Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature bottles purely because they were on sale half price at Tesco. However I have been very happy with them. They are quite a strange shape, being very wide, but they are easy to hold and baby loves to drink from them as the teat is very soft.
Every body keeps telling me to make up feeds in advance and store in the fridge and heat them up, however, "current guidelines" state that this increases the risk of bacteria in the milk. So I have been looking at the best way of feeding my baby when out for the day.
I purchased these milk powder dispensers as they fit neatly into the Tommee...

Tomme Tippee Anti-colic bottles
Review of Tommee Tippee Feeding Bottle by
Cazza242
Advantages: Did wonders for my sons Colic
Disadvantages: The rubber valve keeps popping off leaving son and sofa soaked in milk
...I purchased four of these Anti-Colic bottles to help my sons Colic and to be honest it seems to have helped tremendously. Now I am so angry with the bottles as I am finding my son and my sofa frequently soaked in Milk. The valves at the bottom of the anticolic tube just pops away and the milk gets into it passing out through the top.
I am forever having to open the bottle and retrieve the rubber valve to replace it only for it to fall off numerous times.
I did email Tommee Tippee who were extremely quick I must say to send two replacement valves but just when I think Ive replaced possibly two funny valves the others have given up. They are put on very securely so they dont fall off but they do anyway. I think theres a design fault and its so frustrating otherwise these without that fault would be well worth the money....

Breast to bottle and back again
Review of Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Feeding Bottles by
kamallan
Advantages: easy to use, sterilise and drink from
Disadvantages: none really
...all thoughts going through my head at the time. Then I bought my breast pump, with a little looking into and the help of a mother and baby, pregnant woman, what ever magazine. In it was a guide to manual breast pumps and the Tommee Tippee was rated top. Fine, I was in Morrisons, actually reading the magazine as I plodded along following my other half and my Mam, both with a trolley each shopping for essentials.
As we got to the bit with the baby bits and bobs on it I noticed they stocked the Tippee breast pump and without further ado I mentioned it to my mother, had a quick look and she bought it for me. When I got home I opened the box to have a little look, conveniently there was a small sterilising box and wide neck bottle, along with a storage lid and a teat and lid for the baby to drink from. I had previously heard about...
