Review of Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Bottle & Teat Brush by
newby2
Advantages: dont have to buy so often and gives good clean
Disadvantages: more expensive than the norm
...Tommee Tippee Bottle and Teat Brush
Most of my bottles are Tommee Tippee but I do also have some Avent bottles to use along side. Before sterilisation you always need to clean the bottles and teats in warm soapy water and give them a good scrub using a bottle brush. I have gone through a fair few since having Jack but I think that this particular Tommee Tippee one has lasted me the best.
It cost a little more than the usual bog standard cheap brushes that I normally stick to buying but as my local Boots had run out of the cheap ones I was forced to buy a more expensive Tommee Tippee one at a price of about £3 which is about three times as much as I would usually pay.
This Brush by Tommee Tippie is made up of two colours one being white and the other a sort of blue green colour. It has a large rounded bristle head and a smaller...

Tommee Tippee Breast Pads
Review of Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Freedom Breast Pads by
Lynso
Advantages: No more wet patches, wear your pad with pride !!!!!
Disadvantages: None, l wouldn't use any other.
...Picture this, you've just had a baby, your tired, sore, emotional, your boob's feel like water melons and your walking around with two huge wet patches on your chest because your leeking like a tap. If your anything like me, it always happens just as you step out of the car before the big supermarket shop. You then have to endure the sympathetic stares from countless women who have all been in exactley the same shoes.
I tried out a number of different products but have found that the one that beats them all is Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Freedom Breast Pads. They are perfectly shaped, and fill the whole of the inside of the bra, which from past experience on alternative brands isn't always the case. There's a fantastic plasticy backing and a self-adhesive sticker to firmly attach the pad to the bra.
What the box says...

Cheap but efficient
Review of Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Freedom Breast Pump by
bryjk
Advantages: Easy to clean, good value for money
Disadvantages: Awkward to assemble
...I didn't realise that you were supposed to pump and breastfeed until my baby was 3 months old. My health visitor couldn't believe that I was stupid enough to think I would always be with my baby to feed him.
Suitablely chastised, I rushed out and bought the cheapest breastpump I could find. The Tommee Tippee pump is around £20 full price, but often seems to be reduced in Tesco and Asda to about £12.
The pump comes in a handy microwave steriliser box, and with a small bottle. There are only three parts, which should be easy enough to assemble, but I always found the handle part very stiff when it came to disassembling the product to wash it. Putting it into the sterilser box was awkward, so I usually just used it with my Closer to Nature cold water steriliser.
Once sterilsed it is easy to use, and seemed very comfortable around...

Review of Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Soother (0-6m) by
kristiebws
Advantages: Baby loves them.
Disadvantages: slightly expensive
...I have found the tommee tippee closer to nature soother a lifesaver!!
It is the only soother my breastfed 3 month old son will take, he has been using it since he was around 5 weeks old.
The soother is made out of soft silicone and is very similar to the flex and movement of the mothers breast.
It is a nipple shape and elongates and flexes just as the mothers nipple does so the baby doesnt get confused and either refuse the soother or then refuse the breast.
It is also orthodontic, which means it wont ruint he formation of babies teeth as they are growing.
The price of this soother is slightly more expensive than your average soother, You get two in a pack and theu are £3.99.
I havent found them any cheaper and you can buy them from most shops that sell baby equipment and so on such as Boots, Tesco , chemists and such.
They come...

tommee tippee closer to nature bottles
Review of Tommee Tippee Feeding Bottle by
zoey18822
Advantages: anti colic
Disadvantages: none
...i bought tommee tippee closer to nature bottle when my son was born they are designed to make feeding time easier and more comfortable for you and your baby. There are 3 different ways in which you can hold the bottle, cradled in the hand, held lightly at the bottom of the base or held like a traditional wide neck bottle but i found holding it at the neck of the bottle easier when i was feeding. the bottles come with slow teats which is designed to mimic the natural flex, feel and movement of a mum's breast you can also get a medium flow teat and fast flow teats for these aswell as your baby gets older. they have designed this teat so that the transition from breast to bottle is easier as the baby is able to latch on to both in the same way. this bottles also has a teat with an anti colic valve on the side of the teat designed...

TOMMEE TIPPEE 6 COMPACT MILK POWDER DISPENSERS
Review of Tommee Tippee Milk Powder Dispenser by
kismet
Advantages: simple to use, space saving
Disadvantages: dont really hold 8 scoops
...I have just had my first baby and despite trying my hardest to breast feed I have just not got on with it so had to purchase all the bottles and things to enable me to feed at home and also whilst out and about.
I purchased Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature bottles purely because they were on sale half price at Tesco. However I have been very happy with them. They are quite a strange shape, being very wide, but they are easy to hold and baby loves to drink from them as the teat is very soft.
Every body keeps telling me to make up feeds in advance and store in the fridge and heat them up, however, "current guidelines" state that this increases the risk of bacteria in the milk. So I have been looking at the best way of feeding my baby when out for the day.
I purchased these milk powder dispensers as they fit neatly into the Tommee...

TOMMEE TIPPEE CTN MICROWAVE STERILISER
Review of Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Microwave Steam & Cold Water Steriliser by
kismet
Advantages: easy to use, clean and transport
Disadvantages: more hassle than a steam one
...Although I intended to breastfeed I did not get on with it, however I had already purchased this microwave steriliser to use with expressing equipment. I bought this Tommee Tippee one mainly because it was on offer at Tesco, it was £9.99 instead of £19.99 and came with 3 free bottles and a bottle brush, worth £18 allegedly.
WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
Well, basically it looks like a big plastic bowl with a lid. It holds 4 Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature bottles, or 6 normal bottles and will sterilise in the microwave in just 4 minutes and bottles can be used 5 minutes later
It has a hinged lid, which means that condensation runs back inside the bowl and for safety the lid is lockable . The lid also converts into a sterile surface for hygienic bottle preparation which is great.
It can also be used as a cold water steriliser. It takes 5...

Did what it should
Review of Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Freedom Breast Pump by
alfmum
Advantages: easy to use and clean
Disadvantages: leaked a bit when pumping
...I brought this pump after choosing the closer to nature range to compliment breast feeding. I found this pump very lightweight and easy to assemble. It basically did what it should and pumped milk!
The pump I brought came with a bottle and a really handy travel microwave sterillizer. I thought this was really good value.
The only downside I found with this product was that while pumping it tended to leak slightly around the breast cup and I had to keep stopping to mop up little dribbles. I suppose every breast is different and it would be hard to find one that fits everyone perfectly.
This pump however worked and I was able to express milk for my baby which at the end of the day is what I brought it for. It s easy to clean and held up to daily use....

Breast is best
Review of Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Freedom Breast Pump by
ladydixon
Advantages: easy to sterilise; easy to work
Disadvantages: fiddly to attach handle
...I picked this pump up during Asda's baby event earlier in the year for around £10. I found that it is a little fiddly to put together (the handle has to clip into an awkward position) but simple to use - it easily takes only about 15 minutes to pump about 4oz of milk to save for later. I found it actually helped me with breastfeeding as I was able to feel when my baby was latched on properly much better after I tried this. It is recommended that you don't start expressing too early incase this interferes with breastfeeding, however it was useful to use the pump to relieve engorgement in the earier weeks.
The bottle it comes with is small, but the larger Tommee Tippee botttles can be used, an there's an adapter for smaller necked bottles. The storage box/streriliser is a godsend - it only takes 6 minutes in the microwave which is great...

Hitting The Bottle!
Review of Tommee Tippee Feeding Bottle by
newby2
Advantages: cheaper than Avent
Disadvantages: a few things...
...Tommee Tippee Closer to nature Bottles
The moment I saw these bottles I thought that they looked really smart and as I had an Amazon voucher to spend I thought I would invest in a couple and see how they faired compared to the more widely used baby bottles made by Avent. I already had a few Avent bottles given to me from a friend and I just had to buy some new teats for them so comparing the two was easy.
I paid around £10 for three of these Tommee Tippee bottles that hold 260ml and that price includes the postage and packaging costs, minus that it would have cost around £8. Now this compared to Avent is probably slightly cheaper as I have recent bought some of my own large Avent Bottles and I paid £15 for four from Boots, so buying Avent it works out a little more expensive.
These Tommee Tippee bottles are called closer...
