Tommee Tippee cotton bottom nappies
Review of Tommee Tippee Cotton Bottoms Trial Packs by
ruderocks
Advantages: Good for the environment
Disadvantages: Need changing more often than disposables
...or so to make sure they are washed and dried ready to use before you run out again. The nappies are washed at 60c with a normal washing tablet plus a tablespoon of nappy bright, which helps keep the nappies nice and white.
There are 3 ways of folding the nappy - a girl fold, a boy fold or a liquid poo fold! Details included in pack
I had problems with mine that one of the covers came apart and one of the covers started to fray at the edges after only 1-2 washes and Tommee Tippee said this was unusual and (fair play) agreed to refund the whole lot. I am still deciding whether to replace them like for like or with something else.
The trial pack is good though as it enables you to try the product without buying the full product....

Fantastic product - Tommee Tippee Potty
Review of Tommee Tippee Potty by
FunkyFaulkner
Advantages: Lightweight, small, very easy to use
Disadvantages: Can be difficult to buy replacement liners
...I was lucky enough to inherit my Tommee Tippee Potty from a friend (they can be bought from Boots and Mothercare, for around £7.00). I was immediately impressed as it looked practically brand new and she had used it for all three of her children (two boys and a girl)!
Unlike a traditional potty, the sides of this potty fold flat which means it can be carried around easily (no cumbersome carrier bag with large, bulky potty for me!). It comes with a plastic carry case which is approximately 15 to 20 cm square and only 5 cm deep, so it can slot under pushchairs or put into changing/tote bags with no problem.
I have been using it with my two year old and it is fantastic. To add a little glamour, to what is essentially a very unglamerous passtime, we call it the 'Magic Potty.' And it is! We have used it all over the place from...

Tommee Tippe cotton bottom covers
Review of Tommee Tippee Cotton Bottoms Printed Nappy Covers by
ruderocks
Advantages: Fit well
Disadvantages: Mine started to come apart
...The concept of these nappies is good but the ones I bought started to fall apart.
The covers are available in 3 sizes: size 1 = 4 - 11, size 2 = 8 - 17, size 3 = 15 - 32.
The covers fit well round the waist and the legs and have adjustable velcro so fit every size and shape of baby. The cover can be reused as long as it is not soiled.
The thing I found with these is that they can be a bit fiddly if you are out and about plus you obviously have to wrap the nappy and carry it round with you until you next go home unlike with a disposable. A drawstring bag is included for this.
They are washed at 60c with a normal washing tablet plus a tablespoon of nappy bright, which helps keep the nappies nice and white.
I had problems with mine that one of the covers came apart after only 1-2 washes and Tommee Tippee said this was unusual...

TOMMEE TIPPEE 6 COMPACT MILK POWDER DISPENSERS
Review of Tommee Tippee Milk Powder Dispenser by
kismet
Advantages: simple to use, space saving
Disadvantages: dont really hold 8 scoops
...I have just had my first baby and despite trying my hardest to breast feed I have just not got on with it so had to purchase all the bottles and things to enable me to feed at home and also whilst out and about.
I purchased Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature bottles purely because they were on sale half price at Tesco. However I have been very happy with them. They are quite a strange shape, being very wide, but they are easy to hold and baby loves to drink from them as the teat is very soft.
Every body keeps telling me to make up feeds in advance and store in the fridge and heat them up, however, "current guidelines" state that this increases the risk of bacteria in the milk. So I have been looking at the best way of feeding my baby when out for the day.
I purchased these milk powder dispensers as they fit neatly into the Tommee...

Tommee Tippee Nappy Wrapper
Review of Tommy Tippee Nappy Wrapper by
Coups
Advantages: Saves going outside to bin everytime you change a nappy
Disadvantages: Slightly bulky
...I bought this nappy wrapper after my friend who had a baby six months before me raved about it. She said it was a 'must have' and she was right. You put the nappy in the top and push it down until you feel it being gripped inside. Then you simply twist the top clockwise. If you can imagine a string of sausages, that is basically what is being created inside.
You know when to emply it as you can't get any more nappies in. I empty mine about once a week but it depends on how many nappies you go through.
The only problem I had early on was emptying it. Its easy enough to do but you have to get all the sausage like parcels out and into the bin. You could take the whole thing outside and up end it in to the bin but I bought swing bin liners and put one inside the nappy wrapper everytime I empty it. Its so easy to tie up the swing bin liner...

Tommee Tippee Bottle Brush
Review of Tommee Tippee Feeding Bottle by
KazzaBlack
Advantages: Cleans bottle well
Disadvantages: Breaks really easily
...Tomme Tippee Bottle brush
When choosing a bottle brush to wash your babies bottles it is not exactly something that you are really bothered about as long as it cleans the bottles thats all that matters.
I purchased a Tommee tippee Bottle brush it is double ended so there is a little brush on the opposite end for the teats which i find very useful for £2.49. But after two weeks of using the bottle brush it snapped in half i thought i had been using too much elbow grease and went and bought another one exactly the same thing happened about 6 weeks later this time, again went and bought another one, I gave up buying the tommee tippee bottle brush after the 9th one as they all snapped everytime.
Even though the brush does give you the desired effect and gets the bottle gleaming it is not very durable....

Tommee Tippee Breast Pads
Review of Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Freedom Breast Pads by
Lynso
Advantages: No more wet patches, wear your pad with pride !!!!!
Disadvantages: None, l wouldn't use any other.
...Picture this, you've just had a baby, your tired, sore, emotional, your boob's feel like water melons and your walking around with two huge wet patches on your chest because your leeking like a tap. If your anything like me, it always happens just as you step out of the car before the big supermarket shop. You then have to endure the sympathetic stares from countless women who have all been in exactley the same shoes.
I tried out a number of different products but have found that the one that beats them all is Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Freedom Breast Pads. They are perfectly shaped, and fill the whole of the inside of the bra, which from past experience on alternative brands isn't always the case. There's a fantastic plasticy backing and a self-adhesive sticker to firmly attach the pad to the bra.
What the box says...

Tommee Tippee microwave steriliser
Review of Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature Microwave Steam & Cold Water Steriliser by
levin
Advantages: Very easy to use, sterilises quickly, lid doubles as a sterile work surface
Disadvantages: May not fit in everyones microwave
...I found the Tommee Tippee Microwave steriliser really easy to use and it took a lot of hassle out of sterilising my babies bottles.
Its basically a round plastic container, with a plastic insert which has spaces to fit 4 of the Tommee Tippee wide necked bottles, teats and rings, plus i found that there is enough room to pop a few dummies in there as well.
Just pop 200ml of water in, pop it in the microwave for 6 minutes (this is in my 800w microwave, would be faster in a more powerful one) and thats it - you have sterilised bottles. The bottles remain sterile in there for 24 hours. What i found really good about it as well was that the lid is able to be used as a sterile work surface for making up your bottles. Its on a hinge which allows it to lie flat on your work surface and because it has just been steam cleaned in the microwave...
