Tommee Tippee twin-part weaning bowl and spoon

Advantages: Convenient to use, non-slip bottom
Disadvantages: Too small for growing babies

...I came across Tommee Tippee twin-part weaning bowl in my local Mothercare store. It came with a heat-sensitive spoon and costs only £3.99. You can also buy these bowls in Boots stores. It's basically a bowl that's split into two compartments, so that you can use it for 2 different types of foods at the same time. This bowl has got non-slip bottom, so that it's steady on your child's highchair tray and not very easy for him/her to move or push around. Its capacity is suitable enough for the start of weaning process but may become problematic as your baby grows because then the bowl becomes a little too small. The bowl is made of plastic. Resists heat quite well. Suitable for all methods of sterilising whether it's by steam, microwave, sterilising fluid or anything else apart from simple boiling :). It's also dishwasher proof...

MMM I'll have a bit of that Mum

Advantages: 2 compartments means 2 foods can be in the same bowl
Disadvantages: Not big enough for big portions

...When M started on solids, it was an excuse for a shopping trip. Off I went on my weekly shop at Tesco's. Down the baby aisle I came across my familar Tommee Tippee name and all their bowls etc. I happened to notice a strange oval shaped bowl which seemed to be split into 2. I picked up the packaging to have a look. Here was an oval shaped bowl with a sort of small handling area to allow to hold it while feeding the baby! There was a parting down the middle made off the same plastic as the bowl and there was a larger sort of sized bowl and then a smaller one. The whole bowl is no bigger than 4 inches. It also came with a spoon and was the costly price of £3.99. The spoon is a typical weaning spoon. This means that it is slim and has a smallish head to fit in the babies little mouth. It is also angled to fit the babies...

A mess-free weaning spoon?

Advantages: innovative shape, dishwasher/steriliser friendly
Disadvantages: discolouration

..., without leaving much on the spoon. It is very soft, which makes it much easier on tender gums (I have just noticed his first tooth coming through!). The size of the head is just right to hold a small amount of food - too much and my son spits it right out. The spoons are dishwasher and microwave safe. They are also suitable for all forms of sterilisation. The Tommee Tippee website claims that they have a "special stay clean feature". I have no idea what that means, but I have noticed that after less than 2 months of use, they are already discoloured. I would definitely recommend these spoons. I tried my son with finger food the other day and he put it in his mouth without any trouble. I think that it was due to the practice he has had putting these spoons in his mouth. At only 50p a spoon I think that they were good value for money...

For early teething and tender gums (Tommee Tippee Gummy Teether)

Advantages: Shaped for small mouths, good to use when applying teething gel
Disadvantages: Some children may not like them

...I am currently trying various products to help my little girl with her teething issues, I have already tried a teething ring which turned out to be useless, I recently bought a Fisher Price teething toy which kind of worked (although she just used it as a toy rather than to chew on) so now I'm trying the Tommee Tippee Gummy Teethers. I found these at my local Tesco and thought I may as well give them a go, they come in packs of two and are available in various colours (I went for the pink ones). They are basically like a dummy but instead of having a bit to suck on they have a gum shaped soft rubber section (which also has little dimples on) that the child can have a good old chew on. These are designed for stage one teething which is when your child chews anything in sight and has some discomfort from moving teeth. These are designed...

Tommee Tippee food pots

Advantages: durable, easy to use
Disadvantages: none

...Tommee Tippee food pots are brilliant for home made baby food. They come in three different colours and are made of a strong plastic with sturdy tight lids. They come in blue, pink and purple. I bought 3 lots, 1 in each colour and use them for freezing pureed food. I make up a batch and then fill the pots and freeze them. The pots are great for travelling as the lids are so tight and you can also feed the baby directly from the pot if you want to. They are microwave and dishwasher proof. WHAT DO THEY COST? I bought mine from Asda and they cost £2.48 for 4. WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM? Yes I would. They are great while baby is on pureed food. They are small enough to carry around yet big enough to hold a meal. They can still be used as baby gets bigger, to hold fruit snacks. They are also small enough to fit...

Tommee Tippee Best Not Pump

Advantages: Portable, compact, microwave steralising, easy to assemble
Disadvantages: Slow, not as effective at stimulating the breast as other leading brands

...I purchased a Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Breast Pump for use with my second child after using another brand with my first. I wanted to treat myself to something new and thought I would give this one a try. Swayed by the brand name and NEVER having any complaints for Tommee Tippee products previously, I looked forward to trying this new and innovative design. When I got home I washed my pump and put it in the microwave to sterilise. it melted! Not to be put off and willing to give it a second chance I took the product back to the shop and exchanged it for a new one...which did not melt. I found the product not as comfortable to use as I had been led to believe it would be. The area that covered the breast was quite firm and rigid. I had never had problems expressing vast amounts of milk previously but found that with this...

Tommee Tippee Bottle and Teat Brush

Advantages: cleans all kinds of bottles and teats, available in a wide rage of shops
Disadvantages: broke very quickly so not great value for money

...inside is too hot. Their range of products includes: ~ a nappy wrapper ~ baby monitors ~ sterilisers ~ bottles and bottlefeeding equipment ~ a breast pump ~ toys ~ teethers ~ bowls, plates and cutlery ~ bibs ~ soothers ~ -- PRODUCT DESCRIPTION -- This is a double-ended bottle brush, with a large brush at one end for reaching right inside the bottle and a smaller brush at the other end for helping to remove milk from inside the teats. The handle is made of white plastic with turquoise rubber grips on either side. Tommee Tippee promise that this brush: - cleans bottles and teats of all sizes - is suitable for all bottle shapes - is easy to use and clean -- PRICE -- I got this brush from Kiddicare for £2.79, which seems to be the best price I can find. TOMMEE TIPPEE CTN MICROWAVE STERILISER

Advantages: easy to use, clean and transport
Disadvantages: more hassle than a steam one

...Although I intended to breastfeed I did not get on with it, however I had already purchased this microwave steriliser to use with expressing equipment. I bought this Tommee Tippee one mainly because it was on offer at Tesco, it was £9.99 instead of £19.99 and came with 3 free bottles and a bottle brush, worth £18 allegedly. WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? Well, basically it looks like a big plastic bowl with a lid. It holds 4 Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature bottles, or 6 normal bottles and will sterilise in the microwave in just 4 minutes and bottles can be used 5 minutes later It has a hinged lid, which means that condensation runs back inside the bowl and for safety the lid is lockable . The lid also converts into a sterile surface for hygienic bottle preparation which is great. It can also be used as a cold water steriliser. It...

TOMMEE TIPPEE 6 COMPACT MILK POWDER DISPENSERS

Advantages: simple to use, space saving
Disadvantages: dont really hold 8 scoops

...I have just had my first baby and despite trying my hardest to breast feed I have just not got on with it so had to purchase all the bottles and things to enable me to feed at home and also whilst out and about. I purchased Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature bottles purely because they were on sale half price at Tesco. However I have been very happy with them. They are quite a strange shape, being very wide, but they are easy to hold and baby loves to drink from them as the teat is very soft. Every body keeps telling me to make up feeds in advance and store in the fridge and heat them up, however, "current guidelines" state that this increases the risk of bacteria in the milk. So I have been looking at the best way of feeding my baby when out for the day. I purchased these milk powder dispensers as they fit neatly into the Tommee...

the new improved bottle warmer by tommee tippee

Advantages: Lot better than the original
Disadvantages: none really

...We had the original and it was at best rubbish, wouldn't heat the bottles quick enough. It didn't have an off switch, so you had to reach for the plug. Well we all make mistakes and tommee tippee have gone back to the drawing board, and increased the heating speed, and it also has a zero button which turns the thing off. The size of the palce where you place the bottle is also big enough for any bottles. We got ours from mothercare for 13.99 rrp 20 pound. Still even at £20 i would still buy it. We took our old one back and have one of the new ones upstairs and downstairs. Well highly reccomended by us, and it has a mother and baby gold award amongst others. Well highly recommended by us aswell. You have to make sure that you don't fall asleep though as the milk can get incredibly hot. The next thing they could do to improve it would...
