Advantages: A refreshing Fragrance.
Disadvantages: Not made by Avon!

...Shock. Horror. This is not an Avon fragrance! As you may or may not know, I have recently returned from a holiday in sunny Tenerife. For those of you who do not know the Canary Islands are a tax-free group of islands and therefore there are loads of shops selling any number of items. One of my favourite to visit is the Perfume Safari shop. As you may have gathered by now, they sell perfumes. All types ranges and costs. Whilst wandering around on one of my many visits I was sprayed with Tommy Girl by Tommy Hilfiger. The knowledgeable sells assistant told me that this fragrance was “inspired by the wildflowers grown in the American landscape”. Hmm, it did smell nice, but would Shane like it. Advantages: good value for money, attractive packaging

...tommy girl logo on the front in white stands out boldly on this beautiful background. It is like the warm golden sky fading into the colours from the sky to the blue sea. The lid is also a gold metal white is unusual and again attractive with Tommy Hilfiger carved into it. The bottle is also one with only three faces instead of being a regular shape. The box it comes in is thick card and it is like a watercolour painting because the design is and umbrella and a deck chair on a deserted beach with the waves rolling in and the sky a pale blue. The silver tommy girl logo also on this background with tommy hilfiger logo above and the perfume details. The interior of the box is a warm sunny yellow which hits you as you open the box to reveal the perfume bottle sitting inside. Now for the actual scent. The fragrance to me is a fresh smell... I’ve found that it only takes a small amount to produce a great aroma that will stay with you all day long. This perfume is available in 50ml and 100ml bottles at a cost of £25 - £45, depending on where you buy. I love this perfume and think it is perfect for any occasion, day or night, all year round. ...I bought Tommy Girl for myself recently as I like to change frangrance from time to time. I really like Tommy Girl, it is about the only fragrance that will stay on me for a while. The bottle isn't very different to any other bottle and the packaging didn't tempt me to buy it either, I suppose the name Tommy Girl made it for me as I have always been a bit of a Tom Boy and probably though the the frangrance would suit. The bottle seems to be lasting well as I use it around twice a week (I don't waste it on work I use CK 1 for that!!) It is always handy if buying fragrances to try a little in say Boots and walk around the store for 5 minutes to see if it still smells nice and doesn't have people starting at you as if you really "smell".... ...If your like me and wear a lot of designer wear than you can't have not heard of this make. Did you know that Tommy Hilfiger design's special ranges of clothes just for Britney Spears. In my opinion Tommy is a good make the clothes are comfertable and the range of clothes and different design's are very good and so is the different colour choices some clothes come in. I especially like Tommy's range of mountain montain trousers which I have a pair of and are very comfertable. I've been wearing clothes from the Tommy range for a few years now and although the prices are it has to be said very high the quality is good. Then again no top range designer clothes are cheap over here in the U.K . Still if you do like designer clothes and ever visit the States you'll get great bargain's on lot's of designer wear.... ...Like many of my perfumes I got Tommy Girl as a present. The smell of this perfume is a lovely fresh and lively scent which is great for everyday wear but would be too casual for evening wear or special occasions. Its the kind of perfume that reminds you of sunny days and happy times, yet its rather a subtle scent which is far from overpowering yet has excelent staying power. Although this is quite an expensive perfume but no more so than other brand name fragrances and is really good value for money. The bottle is simple yet stylish but is nothing that special although this keeps the price reasonable. A fun and light fragrance for everyday use which although similar to many other perfumes is just that bit more special and unusual. lovely.... Read review

...Tommy girl is a good everyday perfume. It's chep enough to use all the time, and refreshing and pleasant-smelling enough not to give you a headache. I recieved it as a present two years ago but liked it so much I have used four more bottles of the stuff! It's good for people who like fresh, citrus-like fragrances and sharf sporty fragrances and it always cheers me up! If you like stuff like CK1, Eden, and Impulse deoderants like O2 and temptation, then this is a perfume you should smell out!!!... Read review

...I had been quite a fan of Tommy Hilfiger products for some seven or so years when I came across this fragrance called True Star, As I had owned two Tommy Hilfiger fragrances before I thought I would try a bit of this fragrance, now let me tell you a bit about True Star, Enrique Iglesias is the face of this fragrance from Tommy Hilfiger. Now you may have noticed from the picture on this page that it is housed in a strangely curved shaped bottle, The bottle is blue with sliver cap and The fragrance comes in three different sizes 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. One visit to my local Boots store I came across this in the sale and knew that I was particularly fond of this fragrance from the times I had used a tester bottle in the store before. The fragrances produced by Hilfiger for women include Tommy Jeans and Tommy Girl. Both which are very popular, probably due to the diverse and large amount of advertising which they receive.
