...a pretty useless manual feed as do most of these little printers for heavier cardstock. ease of use:- This is a snap pop in the cd and follow the instructions. as far as i know it works on all versions of windows i have only tried it on win xp and mac os x no problems in either. value:- 2.5 pence per printed page on average for the drum and toner is what i have gotten from this machine. the printer only costs between £60-80 so it is a bargain. it is lasting very well printed 1000's of pages on it. overall:- very good little printer for very small run printing....

Review of Brother HL 2030

What a performance by Brother

Advantages: Affordable, good quality,
Disadvantages: USB connection only

...wanted one that printed in good quality, and didn't take ages to spool. Not that I'm fussy or anything! After a lot of indecision, and going round in circles comparing printers I plumped for the Brother HL-2030. It also has its bigger 'brothers' (sorry pun unintended at time of writing) the HL-2040 and HL-2070, but I didn't think the 2040 offered much more for the money, and whilst I would have ideally liked a network printer it was out of my budget. So - to the main point of this review - what is it like??? *** Appearance *** It comes packaged well, in a sturdy box, with the instructions, and driver CDs easily accessible. Review of Brother HL 2030

In the green corner, the match goes to Brother!!

Advantages: Nice looking machine, but not flashy, good speed and quality, well-designed
Disadvantages: In a small space, the noise can be a little annoying.

It is not colour, but prints in black or grey-scale only. ...Boots expert sensitive toner I like the Boots expert range and find they suit my skin and cause no nasty reactions, so when this was on special offer at half price I naturally bought it. The Hypoallergenic toner has been specially formulated for sensitive skin and contains aloe vera to soothe the skin. It will apparently sweep away the last traces of make up so that skin is clean and ready for moisturising. It is frangrance and lanolin free and dermatologically tested so i am ready for something very gentle as promised. PRODUCT AND PACKAGING... It's simply a toner!

...Having fallen in love with simple's light daily moisturiser I decided to try the travel size toner. Now bearing in mind I had never used a toner before (sorry to all those girls screaming!) Review of Simple Soothing Toner

Oki toner cartridge - Professional, excellent quality printing.

Advantages: Professional quality. Simple to change, good colour
Disadvantages: Expensive, not sure if it is recyclable

...I have been using the Oki toner cartridges for apporximately 12 months. In my opinion the quality is fantastic, clear and precise. When a notice pops up telling me to replace the cartridge it can be ignored for quite a considerable time, even when running low on certain colours I have still found that the quality is good. When the time comes that the colour reproduction is not good enough then as long it is not for an important document I have found that by just simply removing the cartridge, shaking it about a bit and replacing it, it can bring the colour back to life and will add extra life to it.On the whole I feel it produces professional print quality. I think it is an expensive item but have not compared the longevity against an alternative product....

Spritz-on Toner For All Skin Types

Advantages: Leaves skin feeling really fresh and cool, soft and smooth, doesn't dry or strip skin
Disadvantages: Doesn't soothe the skin

...I bought this on recommendation from my beauty therapist. This is not something I would normally do, especially as I don't really like the Dermalogica range, but knowing the damage that alcohol based toners that you put on cotton wool and swipe across your face can do, this sounded like a good investment. It costs around £20 for a 250ml bottle, but as usual shop around and you may find it cheaper. Dermalogica say this refreshing blend of ingredients gives you critical hydration. It contains Lavender extract to soothe and purify, Balm Mint and Aloe Vera to cool and soften, extracts of Arnica and Cucumber to refresh and condition and moisture-binding proteins to allow for more efficient moisture absorption. It's suitable for all skin types. It comes in a white cylindrical bottle with a grey spray top. The spray gives a nice 'spritz...
