...We bought 6 of these printers back in early 2005 and after 1 year, were riddled with different problems - e.g. paper not picking up, numerous paper jams, "cyan/magenta/yellow/black toner not installed" error messages (will get to this one later), video underrun error (which basically colour washed the whole page it happened to be printing at the time.) Even after a month we had to call konica minolta to send out a printer engineer because 2 of our printers refused to pick up any paper, and these 2 still have trouble picking up paper even now. The insides of these printers can get very dirty with toner which will cause a whole load of other problems like the "X toner not installed" error messages mentioned above. ...on! The novelty of it all wore off though and to be honest, I'm quite bored with my PDA now, I've only had it 3 months and it really is for business use. It has 64MB RAM built in which enables you to save quite a lot of files and notes etc and an SD expansion slot for more memory. Also comes with a headphone jack and an expansion slot for various COMPAQ add-ons. ***BLUETOOTH*** Wonderful piece of technology, but how disappointed was I when I found out it wouldnt let bluetooth enabled mobile phones send it photos. How stupid is that?! It would only let me do that via Infra Red and that is just slow and old! The only tasks I could take part in using Bluetooth was accessing the files on my mates H5450 and sending him contacts through the phone book which again got a bit boring and tedious after a while. ...We tried to buy a Magicolor 2400 but printerland.co.uk had sold out and offered this machine for only a very little more. We paid £175 (GBP) including VAT. My first print was an A4 colour photo onto budget 80 gsm office paper and the print quality was as good as our old HP inkjet and so much faster. The picture quality was good enough to frame and hang on the wall. Although maybe not as sharp as it might have been had it been professionally printed, you had to look very closely to see the difference. It popped out in under 5 seconds - much faster than the manufacturer's specs. What we bought this for was to print brochures for my wife's business. ...This toner is designed for use with the HP Laserjet 1100 series printers. We have a number of these printers at the company I work for and so make use of these toners quite a lot. The toner is quoted as having a page life of 2,500 pages and retails at a price of around £40. The cartridge comes packaged in a large box with the toner type clearly labelled on the front, which is handy. The toner is secured within the box by two large cardboard holders and comes in package that closely resembles bin bag material! In Use This toner cartridge has been sensibly designed so as to make it a fairly easy process when removing an old toner and replacing with a new one.
