...OK, so I know I should really be reviewing Chicken Tonight, but there are a lot of other "sauces" etc which don't get a look in as there's no Food category. Basically, what follows are some reviews of things you can use while cooking chicken, and some recipes for those of you who enjoy a bit of cooking now and then. I'm a big fan of Mexican food, and so us here in our student flat regularly buy stuff with which to make mexican. Generally it's chicken we use as our meat of choice as it's tasty, easy to cook and relatively cheap at our local supermarket. We invariably buy products by "Old El Paso" - they have a brilliant range of mexican cooking sauces and accessories. I Feel Like Moroccan Chicken Tonight

...I'm not really a fan of cook-in sauces. In most cases, the different sauces always seem to taste the same. One of the exceptions I have found is the Ckicken Tonight range. Having a husband and three picky children, it can sometimes be difficult, to say the least, to satisfy everyone at the same time but I have found they all seem to like Chicken Tonight. One of our particular favourites is Moroccan Chicken. Moroccan Chicken with apricots and raisins is a spicy sauce with a sweet flavour. Although it is quite spicy, my kids (particularly my 8 year old) really love it. I usually serve it with rice and naan bread. It takes just a few minutes to fry the chicken, pop into a casserole dish and pour over the sauce. You don't even need a tin-opener because it is a screw top jar. It takes between 1-2 hours to cook in the oven...

Come Out Tonight? I DON'T THINK SO SOMEHOW!!!

Advantages: fast paced thriller you might not be able to put down
Disadvantages: very violent, very bloody

...after the main story. It was a bit too happy and the feel good factor did nothing for me. I felt as if the writer had rushed off the last few pages to tone down the previous violence and "glorify" the ending. It didn't sit well. I have to admit to having read this book really quickly, I'm a fast reader and have a tendency to read through into the early hours of the morning if I start on a book that I enjoy. This wasn't enjoyable in the usual way I enjoy books, but I had to get to the end of it to find out if justice is served. Although the story is set over a short period of less than 24 hours, there's a lot of dialogue between the characters so it seems as if we're right there. The book could be easily adapted into a film without having to write a script! Not that I'd watch it! ~*~TECHNICAL STUFF? ~*~ Come Out Tonight...
