Proving round is avalibleon many platforms from console gaming to portable gaming. The proving Ground I have is for the nintendo ds. At the time I bought it for about £8 from argos which at the time I remeber thinking that for a brand new ds £8 is a very good price. A bargain in other words and I wasn't disappounted. For £8 you expect the game to be alright but this went above my expectations. Tony Hawk turns into a THUG!

Advantages: Visual great; amazing soundtrack; gameplay adds new moves, but retains it's charm; lots of modes.
Disadvantages: No online play, even though the PS2 version has it; storymode isn't a dramatic change.

Tony Hawk is back with another excellent game!

Advantages: No loading screens, lots of unlockables and excellent gameplay
Disadvantages: BMX feature was laking, there's rap music on it!

Advantages: Well written, comical and informative
Disadvantages: Perhaps a bit formulaic

Apparently some people mistook the author for Tony Hawkes, the skateboarder, asking him questions like what is your favourite move, how many boards do you own, etc.. You can read the replies on his highly amusing website. Someone has even done a mock up of the skateboarding computer game - Tony Hawkes Prowriter 2. Anyway, back to the review. Tony Hawkes gets involved in a foolish, drunken bet, which involves lots of travel, and is full of insights into foreign culture. He nearly comes a cropper, meets lots of eccentric characters and leaves us in suspense as to whether he succeeds until the final chapter. ...Tony hawks underground is a great skating game and tops all previous tony hawk games. there are several new fetures like being able to get of the board and walk, several new tricks, create the player to look like you and your own board desighn. One of the best parts to this game is that you can explore whever you want without a time limit on all of the levels just free skating until you want to do a mission to get to the next part of the map. I love the fact you can run around in this game, and drive other vehicles like cars and other veichles including a grass cutter! Also you can pull of some really insane stunts of the tops of hotels to pools way below.
