...Have you all missed Tony? Well im back today. I forgot about this site. How could I do that huh? Well on with my Camera review. I have just got hold of a nice cheap digital camera form my holiday. I went for Kodak because if its one thing they know it about, its cameras and photography. The Camera I have just bought is called the LS420 and this is what I want to tell you about. OK, so it wont win any "clearest and sharpest pictures of the year" contest but it gives you great performance still at an affordable price and ease of use is a key factor here. The camera itself is slightly elongated compared to the usual stocky design of Digital cameras. I liken it to a more traditional 35MM design. ...in the middle of a whole load of wasted pixles. It does have a few downsides, when you want to take stills without the flash the auto-focus can be a bit awkward if the light isn't fantastic so it sometimes takes a little playing with to get it locked into your subject. Oh and this thing eats AA bateries for breakfast so if you are planning to use it a lot without a power adaptor I would suggest getting shares in Duracell. Also the webcam option on it isn't particularly good but then again why would you want a £350 webcam. On the whole a cracking buy and I would recommend it but please be aware that I bought this camera some time ago and things do change a lot. Advantages: Amazing picture quality/features/just everything.
Disadvantages: Guess some people would prefer smaller cameras

...lasts for over 6 hours - with the LCD screen on!! The MiniDV tapes are also tiny, although they only last 60 minutes. The VX2000 has a long play mode which makes the tapes last 90 minutes, although, there's more likelihood of drop out. I've used my VX2000 with my Matrox RT2000 (digital edit board for the PC) which has a lot of problems with communicating with some cameras... I can say here that the VX2000 works perfectly with the RT2000. It's grrrrrreat. The device drivers for the USB device work really well - no crashes. There's just nothing I can fault this camera on. If you can afford £2000 and you're in the market for a decent camera... Just go and get one. ...I got my first camera when I was eight years old and have been a keen photographer ever since. When I was thirteen I bought myself a better camera. I absolutely loved it and used it quite a lot. When my dad got our first digital camera I was forever borrowing it as we could put the photos straight onto the computer. He moved on to get a further two digital cameras, (at different times) and still I was asking to borrow them and I was fairly happy with this situation. Although, since my niece, Toni, was born in August I've been using the camera almost every weekend. At one point the camera did break and needed to be sent for repair (which according to my dad was my fault for using it too much!)
