Late Booking on Late Rooms

Advantages: Easy to use, can book a hotel within about 15 minutes, great choice of hotels.
Disadvantages: The site isn't very attractively designed and rather overloaded with information.

Although I have a massively full bookshelf which I can't seem to stop from growing, I was pleased to see that they had the new Carmen Reid book on half price offer this week, and although I wasn't all that keen on the prequel to this book, I thought it was worth £3.49 and decided to buy it and give Ms Reid another read! This book is a sequel to Carmen Reid's bestseller, The Personal Shopper. We return to the character of Annie Valentine who is where we left her at the end of the pevious book. She's loved up with Ed, a handsome teacher, and her 2 children Lana and Owen. It's never too late...

Advantages: Good acting, thought-provoking

It wasn't quite what I expected (I thought the ending might be a bit more like that of Half Light), but it does make sense, to me at least. The motto of the film is that it is never too late to change things and make things better, and once this became clear, the whole film suddenly slots into place. I was certainly left with the feeling that the film had a point, which is a lot more than most of the tosh that comes out of Hollywood these days. For a film that is basically a thriller, I thought the attention to the setting was pretty good - the filming generally took place either in the dark or in stormy weather. Too Long Too Late?

Advantages: A mix of styles and catchy tracks
Disadvantages: Almost half of the album is weak and feels like repetition!

...it peters out at 4 mins 25 seconds! To Buy Or Not To Buy: I am struggling to see why it really took five years for Maroon 5 to come up with this. In all fairness everything up until the seventh track is pure, polished and poppy, brilliant new melodies and no weak tracks, but from the 7th track onwards you get the feeling the band were either experimenting too much with their maturer side, or were working on something else in the pipeline that would mean the structure of the second album required little thought. Either way, the mediocre effort and similarity of the tracks in the second half is highly disappointing for a band that went 10 times platinum with Songs About Jane, and whose performances have always been up-beat, catchy and something to get your teeth into. You are basically only being served half of what you pay for...

Mummy Look at my Drawing - too late it is gone!

Advantages: No batteries needed
Disadvantages: A bit big

...it is very clever as if you use one end you will get a thin line, and if you use the other end of the pen you get a thick line. On the right hand side of the board is a blue plastic circle basically once you are ready to erase your picture you just push the circle to the bottom and it will automatically go to the top at the same time it cleans the screen. -What do I think?- My son loves his megasketcher and will sit for ages and he comes up with some fabulous pictures, the one big downside of course is we cannot keep his wonderful art work and often my husband will tell me to take a look at my sons picture but I am too late as my son has already erased it! The only other problem is sometimes I find that even though my son pushes the erase button to the bottom of the screen that it does not always erase all of the picture...
