Advantages: It's only 95 minutes long!
Disadvantages: Everything else to do with it!

...as the two men fight each other for the title of best decorated house. Neither wanting to give an inch to the other in any way shape or form. Meanwhile while their animosities grow their families are left to suffer in the wake. The wives and children begin to wonder whether or not their whole Christmas is going to be ruined if their men folk don’t come to their senses very quickly. This is possibly THE worst Christmas themed film I have ever seen in my life. It offers absolutely nothing new at all, is predictable from start to finish and even the eventual Christmas message is not only laboured but can be seen a million miles away! Advantages: It’s Top Trumps! It’s The Simpsons!! Together at last!!!
Disadvantages: A few dubious stats

...Nostalgia time boys and girls….Top Trumps. They’ve been enjoying a resurgence of late but I remember them first time around. Many a happy hour battling stats on fast jets, hot rod cars or monsters - usually whilst waiting for the rain to stop on holiday. So, take a perennially favourite card game and throw in the hottest current cartoon property and how can you go wrong? For those of you unfamiliar with Top Trumps it’s easy, quick and fun - which explains it’s appeal and longevity. Each deck of (usually about 30) cards relates to a given theme: motorbikes or dinosaurs for example. Each card depicts a different vehicle/creature and below the picture it lists some relevant statistics: Top Speed 212mph/weight 75 tons etc. The cards are shuffled and dealt between any number of players and whoever’s turn it is reads out one of the stats... ...as it was he whom i made play with me, but he wont anymore as i get violent apparently. So for the cost the propper "top trumps" cost £3.99 in hamleys and the price at the forbidden planet for the simpsons deck was £2.99, toys 'r' us do there own version which retail at only £1.99. The play value of top trumps however is priceless and they are educational i know know lots of knew and exciting facts about sharks that i never new before!. Now whenever i go away or travel you will always find a deck of top trumps in by bag!.... Read review

...Let me just get this off my chest and say top trumps is awesome. One of the best card games around and is at many timee completely unpredictable. You can start of on a winner only to lose the whole lot. The excitement is unbearable (ok slight exhageration there). This easy to learn not so easy to master game is truely more exciting than poker and snap for the younger kids as there are many twists to the game and suprises will be in store. Now that I have said my piece, let me explain the game and for all you Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans out there, You will like this. THE GAME Generally it is trumps but with a special deck consisting of 30-40 cards which are all dealt between the players as evenly as possible. ...Fair', is so rigidly and meticulously planned that it becomes a chore. In an effort to be the town's 'Mister Christmas' the two men, whose ideas of Christmas are in opposition, undermine each other at every turn. 'Deck the Halls' is one of those holiday season movies that is spit out, with dozens of others, every year by movie studios hoping to make a quick and easy buck. I'll tell you, out of the dozens released every Christmas, only one or two are worthy of attention... this definitely isn't one of them. This movie is absolutely boring... in fact, it's more than boring... it's downright painful to watch, like a sore tooth, it just makes you want to hit your head against the wall until you pass out! The acting is absolute rubbish, and the storyline - I don't even want to go there - but I must! So here goes; detestable Buddy... Read review

...nubuck leather cousins. I will ensure my next pair are an all leather style such as the 'Admiral' or 'Commander' variants. The soft padded tongue and threaded through leather laces ensure a snug fit around the ankle, yet still allow me to slip the shoes on and off without untying. A boon when you need the shoes in a hurry..... These are deck shoes from a premium manufacturer which unfortunately are more pretty and 'fluffy' than the task deserves.... Read review

...Here are my top ten players to have good, long and hard look at as they are bound to impress this season. 1.Patrice Evra (Left Back, Monaco) This 24 year old french full back is Monaco's first choice after a few years of consitancy and good attitude towards the game.
