In addition to the fridge having the best economy rating available there is also an economy button which sets the fridge to 6oC and the freezer to -17oC which are the units optimal settings. There is a boost setting for when you put fresh stuff into the freezer and there is a vacation setting which turns the fridge off and keeps the freezer going for when you are on holiday. The current temperature is displayed on a digital panel at the top of the unit, this is where all the other buttons are too. I’m not too sure it’s such a good idea but they also have a power switch on the panel, I my opinion it’s probably best to keep that out of reach so it can’t be knocked off accidentally. ...Well when I saw this I thought it would be interesting for those people who like nosing in other peoples fridges so here goes. My fridge is a Beko white upright fridge/freezer which my Parents gave to us when we moved house last month. The top part is the fridge and what we will concentrate on. The fridge has a green power light to the top and at the moment is set on the average setting and does not have a temperature gauge so I have no idea if this is the correct setting. On the top shelf is some mature coloured cheddar purchased from Asda at the shocking price of £2 which is more than I normally pay for a block of cheese. Next to that is Mark's Primula which he has every single day I personally cannot stand the stuff but then I have an addiction to chocolate! Next I have two tubs of unopened Clover butter... ...Over the past few weeks it seems I've been reviewing all the products that I eat, whichcome out of the fridge. Now this is going to be a run down of all the other things in there too! It could be a very short review, as even though our fridge is usually packed full of stuff, very little of it is actually mine. Being out of date can usually identify my property, along with growing mold and getting ready to put its self in the bin! Okay so top shelf… When I tidied the fridge last week, I decided this would be the dessert shelf. For a few days it stuck and then people went shopping and stuff just gets chucked in! Advantages: easy going, funny

...on the theme: Taking the fridge surfing, getting it baptised and so on. Having said that, without the fridge there doubtless would have been no book, since it played a key part in Mr Hawks’ welcome. I also found certain sections quite schmaltzy, which was a shame because the sentiments were good ones, just heavily handled. The book does has plenty of saving graces, however. The author’s style is chatty and easy to read, and almost always very witty. There are more than enough good laughs in there, among the forced ones. It performs well as a travel guide as well, giving good descriptions of the places visited, the best spots for drinking and the worst ones for hitching. All in all a good read, if you can ignore the over-fridginess and the fuzzier moments. Not top of my recommendation list but a recommendation nonetheless... Read review

In the front door it has six various width shelves,two at the top have see through covers,and the last four have metal retaining railings to prevent items falling out. Has an easily replaceable internal light with incorporated thermostat. ...I guess the contents of my fridge will tell you a lot about me, here goes; Top shelf 2 Pyrex jugs of baby formula (I have 13 wk old baby) 6 petit filous yoghurts, a bag of easy-peel satsumas, a bowl of washed white grapes (I have a toddler) Dairylea Dunkers (I sometimes buy the wrong things for my toddler- they're 2 days out of date and now in the bin) The cheese box (containing strong cheddar, feta and some red devil) we like cheese and crackers with a glass of wine at night sometimes On the second shelf are Utterley Butterley, a multipack of dips, a pack of pork pies, a bag of M&Ms, (all showing that inside my relatively unfat body there is a hugely obese greedy chocaholic dying to get out) a pack of chicken fillets (thai chicken for tea tomorrow- see I'm healthy really) half a tin of beans.
