...there is a low harvest the grapes are pretty full on and tasty for wine. It certainly works for me. Rather than be grown in the Rioja area these grapes are grown in Toro, at the same latitude, but much further inland near the north Portugal border. Taste I enjoy this fairly full on and in-your-face wine, although it?s one that isn?t too sweet and cloying like many of those Aussies I dislike...
