...parents decided to take a holiday together, like they did every year. They found themselves in Torquay this particular year, they loved it so much that later in the year we came down as a family. There were talks of moving but at 12 years old it doesn't sink in. We got home, my parents put the house on the market and we had moved to nearby Newton Abbot within 4 months. I have been a regular visitor to Torquay ever since, from visiting the sites as a teen, to enjoying the night life and spending lots of money there on my shopping trips. I even got married in a Torquay hotel. Its a lovely place to visit and live. Just avoid the local football team (Torquay United they're rubbish) and you'll have a pleasant stay....

...The Best Western Gleneagles describes itself as been located in a chic area of Torquay which is about 12 min taxi ride from the station, It boasts 41 modern rooms many of which have ocean views and all of which have private balconies, all rooms are tastefully designed with en suite bathroom, TV, hairdryer and hot drinks refreshment tray. Prices can vary depending on the time of year you visit this hotel and if any special offers are present. I myself was attending a trade show in Torquay and required a smoking room of which I was informed this hotel has 11 such rooms for those wishing to smoke, the rest of the hotel is of course non smoking to comply with regulations. ...Both my Husband and I were looking to get away last minute (8th & 9th August '06) and decided to set our hearts upon Torquay. We have visited Torquay before but haven't had the pleasure of staying so off I went on Google to search for hotels/guesthouses in Torquay. I stumbled across the Meadfoot Bay Hotel and I thought it was great that they had their own website www.meadfoot.com. I browsed the pages and was happy with what i saw, so decided to pick up the phone to see if they had any availability. Lucky for us, they had 1 room left which was a double and incidentally was room No.1. The hotel itself is set 200m from Meadfoot bay (a superb, quiet spot with excellent walks and a lovely beach). ...House is a fantastic series and I missed the first one but got in to watching this in the second series, so I rushed out to buy the first series box set and I could not stop watching it, it is so addictive. If you love medical dramas then this is one for you as it's not all your normal diagnosis, each episode goes through a new medical dilemma they have to try and solve and they are not your usual colds and virus's. House is a medical programme with a diagnosis to be made, so each episode has you playing doctor trying to figure what has caused the patient's medical condition. A Wooden Album by Crowded House?

Advantages: 'Woodface' includes some of the most sublime love songs ever written
Disadvantages: It's all a bit much and much the same; the tracks that do dare to be different, don't fit

...Although I will always consider Crowded House to be one of my ?Dad?s bands? I have to say that I?ve developed strong feelings for many of the groups songs over the years. House Of Wax

...: Region 2 Cert 15 Price & Where To Buy. We brought ours from play.com when they had a sale one and only paid around £5 for it. Most places do sell this one and it is certainly widely available My Thoughts. Well personally once Paris Hilton was killed off the film was good. I did like it and have and would watch it time and time again. Though I can't see myself going to Madame Tussauds in London anytime soon. The way the film was created is quite something. Everything from the House of wax to the church so the houses was amazing to see and watch. The effect when the House Of Wax was burring was also quite something. Worth while giving it a watch and the extras are quite good also....
