This product is a real treat: I use it ti watch HD (High Definition) movies, play games on HD ,watch home-movies I have made on my Toshiba Camileo Pro Camcorder and even use it to surf the net sometimes, instead of my Sony KDL. ...First, I will note that purchasing this TV was as a replacement to the 28 inch Panasonic CRT that I had used for about 8 years. Therefore, the move up to a 32 inch diagonal on an LCD set was quite a cinematic increase. Having been tempted for several months, and seeing that 32 inch LCDs are now down to about the same price that their 26 inch equivalents were at a few months back, I decided to go ahead and buy one, at the right price. Advantages: Cheap, 1080p, good sound and great picture

...strip on the side. The remote can be used for a dvd or vcr aswell by just flicking a switch. Overall it is rather siple to use and understand. Sound Although the 42x3030d only uses Nicam sound system the Toshiba SRS Wow virtual surround sound really gives you a good experience and the sound quality overall is pretty good. Picture Now for the ultimate test. The 42x3030d is 1080p compatible and although many devices cannot handle that resuloution I was fortunate to have a PS3 connected via hdmi which meant I could see the TVs true capabilities. You can really tell the difference between SD and HD even at the distance of about 3.5 metres which was what I was sitting at. When you read those TV size guides you always have to realise that they want you to buy bigger tvs in order to ake more money and 42" is fine for up to even 4... Read review

...We purchased our toshiba 32" lcd tv 6 months ago now and continue to be very pleased with it,one of the main reasons for us purchasing this t.v was we wanted the style,features ie hd ready,size,etc but not having to break the bank,after many trips to currys,dixons,comet etc and checking out almost every tv within our price range £500-£650 we decided that the toshiba ticked all the right boxes,with a sale price of £529.00 It was generally easy to install and if you follow the on-screen menus you cannot really go wrong. Unfortunataly on the back there are only 2 scart connections a pain when you have a sky+box,a dvd player & seperate vcr,and when the kids want to play their game consoles you have to use the yellow,red & white connections on the side,(we are currently saving for sky hd box which iam hoping will free one of the scarts... ...Buy one, be moved. This is beginning to sound like the Mazda ad. The Toshiba 2950XMJ, Dramatic V, 28 system television that I bought four years ago, was probably my most useful purchase. I paid around PDS 400.00 for it at that time and it was later on that I found out that my friends had been splashing 50% and even more on other brands like Sony and Sharp, at the same time that I bought mine. When you think Televisions then Toshiba is not one that comes to mind. Maybe they don’t advertise as much as the other producers but believe you me I would rank them at least amongst the top three. ...The popularity of both wide screen and large screen TVs seems to be on the increase yet again, and even in my case it's a priority to acquire one. I have recently been looking around to see whats on offer at a price worthy of the product. So far I have only found two models that seem to have it all with the exception of a couple of drawbacks. Both TVs that have got my attention are from the Toshiba range, and this op is about the 37 inch surround sound model. Firstly, The drawbacks. The actual cabinet that surrounds the workings is only available in a standard dark silvery grey colour which unfortunately shows up any scratches or knocks quickly, also there are 2 drop down covers that hide various controls that I think are far below the strength required for any real last ability. ...Misco offer a very quick service. Every product I have ordered in the afternoon prior to 3pm has been delivered the following day. Customer Service in my experience is also very good. Regarding the TV itself - very good, not sure it's worth upgrading over the 37C3030DB (720p version) as to be honest it's difficult to tell the difference as both look extremely good and the 720p 37C can do 1080i. However overall i'm very impressed by the TV. The standard settings are good and the Picture Quality is excellent. I would recommend adjusting the backlight to around 30 for longetivity of the display, contrast can be set to roughly 80 and brightness 55. These are all personal preferences but very close to a reference setup.... Read review

...*Found you!* I had been looking for a good digital camera for ages, and then i saw the polaroid pdc 3030. It was cheap, small and good quality, so i decided to buy it from argos. Argos was doing a great deal: The camera, a small pouch for the camera, and a 64mb memory card for just under £100. So overall it saved me quite alot. *When it arrived!* I opened the box it had came in, and looked to see that it come with 4 AAA batteries, a pad of instructions, a software cd, a wrist strap and a USB cable. I then followed the instructions, and attached the wrist strap to the camera, and installed the software on my computer (windoes 98). The USB socket was covered by some rubber, that protected it.
