Another winner from Toshiba
Review of Toshiba 37 WLT 66 by
The-Reasoner
Advantages: Value for money, Picture Quality
Disadvantages: Some sound issues
...An excellent purchase and easily recommended for that short list of possible HD T.V
I bought 1 of these fine T.V's just over a month ago and i'm very impressed with the performance of Toshiba's new flat panel LCD.
At 37" the screen size was ideal for my requirements as the 32" was just too small and a screen of 40 inch plus was too big.
Picture quality is sublime with rich and vivid colours and the black level is the best i've seen(which is very difficult to achieve in LCD technology),and it's very close to the levels of a good quality Plasma display.
The T.V was very easy to set-up straight out of the box thanks to the easy to understand menu's and was up and running with-in 5 minutes.
The choice of connections are also excellent and comes with 2 HDMI connections(this is rare as most other T.V's only come with 1 HDMI plug),1...

Toshiba 37 Inch surround sound TV
Review of Toshiba 3788 DG by
Trev1000
Advantages: Great sound quality and enormous clear picture.
Disadvantages: Weak cabinet design
...The popularity of both wide screen and large screen TVs seems to be on the increase yet again, and even in my case it's a priority to acquire one.
I have recently been looking around to see whats on offer at a price worthy of the product. So far I have only found two models that seem to have it all with the exception of a couple of drawbacks.
Both TVs that have got my attention are from the Toshiba range, and this op is about the 37 inch surround sound model.
Firstly, The drawbacks.
The actual cabinet that surrounds the workings is only available in a standard dark silvery grey colour which unfortunately shows up any scratches or knocks quickly, also there are 2 drop down covers that hide various controls that I think are far below the strength required for any real last ability. Little covers may seem like unimportant features...

Toshiba 15" LCD TV with Freeview
Review of Toshiba 15V330D by
sagitaria
Advantages: Slimline, lightweight, reliable
Disadvantages: Remote control is slow to respond
...can push them against a wall and hey presto, a whole new area of worktop space.
So, despite my old analogue working perfectly, it was time to consign it to the pavement outside. I never need worry about it being collected by the bin men. It'll be long gone before then. We can guarantee one of the locals, who regularly scour the streets for unwanted electrical items, will rescue it. Before too long, it'll re-appear down at the local market where someone will make a small profit.
After a bit of research, I decided to go for the Toshiba 15" 4:3, LCD, Integrated Digital TV with Freeview. Pricewise, it seemed to be very competitive and its performance was highly rated.
I'm very loyal to Toshiba anyway, especially when it comes to televisions and DVD players. I've always found them to be a very trustworthy brand, with few, if any...

Good looking toshiba lcd tv
Review of Toshiba 14VL33 by
oldwasp
Advantages: flat lcd screen, good sound, mounts on wall.
Disadvantages: motion blur watching fast moving objects
...of a player or the ball you get a ghosting or motion blur, this is because the TV only has a 25ms response time. LCD tv's are best under 15ms, but how often would you watch sport on a 14" TV.
Teletext is easy to use with the remote which includes fasttext.
Another television from Toshiba that they can be proud of, looks good easy to use and fantastic to watch.
Thanks for reading...

EYE cathcing, JAW Dropping, MUST have product.
Review of Toshiba 37X3030D by
Toffee-Crisp
Advantages: Sleek design, amazing picture quality, amazing sound quality with special DNR noise reduction feature.
Disadvantages: no side mount, 3 second time delay when switiching on TV.
...Toshiba is a well known and well trusted company for all its products. The Toshiba 37X3030D LCD HDTV is said to be one of the best TV's in its range and much better then any other LCD HDTV's out there. Not only that the Toshiba 37X3030D seem to be selling really well in stores and online for the reason that it have an exceptional picture viewing quality which is outstanding, its design is neat, sleek and sexy and the price of this TV in unbelievable.
The design of this Product is not all eye-catching but jaw dropping. Its sleek mirror back glossy look is really attractive and fashionable. Well this look is what you get on nearly all LCD TV's these days. But with the Toshiba its something much more then that as with the TOSHIBA, its not only makes your living room look more modern and livens up the area it also gives it a updated...

Philips Ambilight LCD - PHI-37PF9731D
Review of Philips 37PF9731 by
BTreyo
Advantages: Connectivity
Disadvantages: Slow when powered on
...media setup.
The built in Memory Card Reader is a great feature too, to share photies on a large screen with family / friends
I don't use the standby feature on this TV as I have found it to switch itself on all by itself - this may not be a common problem but I haven't got round to reporting it - yet therefore would be interesting to hear from anyone who has experienced the same issue. But as I'm not using the standby feature I do find its a little slow when powering up.
Upgrading the firmware which is downloadable from Philips website on this machine is a walk in the park - thanks to the USB port. Plug in power on and it does the rest by itself.
* 37" LCD TV
* Full HD display, 1920x1080p
* Integrated Digital Tuner for DVB-T reception
* HD ready for the highest quality display of HDTV signals
* 2 x 15W RMS...

HD TV Is A Minefield. Don't Get Blown Up!
Review of Toshiba 37WL66 by
gf6141a20
Advantages: Good sturdy HDTV ready LCD TV. 2 HDMI slots
Disadvantages: Similar TV's are coming rapidly down in price - hold back before buying
...We needed a new TV. The old one had finally given up the ghost and was on its way back to the land of scrap. The purple haze in one corner had become something of a quirky trait to the X-Factor but it was annoying none-the-less.
So we scoured the internet and found some good prices for LCD TV's. Hubby rather likes his XBox so we knew a plasma wouldn't do. But it was time to invest - and heavily invest we did.
Our final choice was a Toshiba 37WLT66. A HD ready LCD TV with the all important integrated freeview digital tuner. Now we have Sky, but with all the warnings about the switch to digital only TV coming, it is worth knowing that your cash has got you something that will still work should you fall out with the providers of everything worth watching. The Freeview Digital Tuner means you get all those freeview channels...

Get yourself FULL HD!
Review of Toshiba 37XV503DB by
rob1001
Advantages: Great picture! Great price.
Disadvantages: Erm!
...friendly among you there is an off switch that takes the TV off standby. The samsung model and a few others do not have this which strikes me as odd but you dont have to worryabout that here!
The look of the TV is really quite nice. Its sleek and inoffensive. It doesnt look that huge as the rim around the screen is quite small. We were worried about getting a 42 " TV thinking it would look insane. With this 37" screen though it not only looks good but the actual quality will be better with a slightly smaller screen!
The sound quality is great. It has a speaker running along the bottom of the screen. Some LCD TV's have rear speakers which are terrible for bigge rooms. With the front speaker it is not also clearer but doesnt sound like it has reverb on it due to it bouncing off a wall or something. If you want surround sound its easy...

Toshiba...leading us into a world of technology!
Review of Toshiba 42Z3030D by
cobainkurdt
Advantages: WOW...too many!!! Performance A*
Disadvantages: How dare you!
...INTRODUCTION
Toshiba have always been an excellent brand, along with a brilliant product portfolio (diverse range of products.) This product is a real treat: I use it ti watch HD (High Definition) movies, play games on HD ,watch home-movies I have made on my Toshiba Camileo Pro Camcorder and even use it to surf the net sometimes, instead of my Sony KDL.
RANGE OF FEATURES
Features of the Toshiba 42Z3030D (Z series): This product has 3 HDMI inputs, PC connectivity, along with 2 Scarts, Component and Composite video inputs, S-video input (in this day and age it is certainly an excellently designed product with all features of a successful LCD tv.) Synergising this product's frame rate allows this product deemed flawless.( A large problem with many LCD tvs is that they do not possess enough frame rates which causes poor...

Good Looks with a great picture!
Review of LG 37LC3R by
LeeSullivan
Advantages: Brilliant Picture, XD engine, Duel screen, Future Connectivity, PC Connection, Value for Money, Pretty.
Disadvantages: poor instructions unless you have a pc...
...After deciding to upgrade from our old TV I felt it was time to embrace the world of HDTV and at first glance it was a shock to the system. Standing there thinking oooooo that's nice, Glancing at the price tag and swiftly walking away. After spending quite a while looking through on-line forums and chatting with friends it seemed like it would be an LG or Toshiba both of which were offering TV's which are in my price bracket. Whilst looking through a home shopping catalogue I found both TV's which covered my budget, This TV and the Toshiba 37WL66P. Both offer pretty much the same but the LG offers a higher contrast ratio which means that blacks are more black (not grey) and the colours are more defined. I also found the LG better looking - after all you are going to be staring at it quite a bit...
Unfortunately I found nowhere...
