Happy snapping with the D300
Review of Nikon D300 by
Jobanjos
Advantages: Competitively priced and packed with new features
Disadvantages: None! Any disadvantages would be entirely personal
...The Nikon D300 will currently set you back around £1000 in the UK, and that's without the glass on the front. My review here might seem technical to some, but that's not an amount of money most people part with lightly. I don't apologise for putting some basic spec in the review, after all, if you're considering buying this camera, it's exactly what you need to know before getting out your wallet.
If you're after a camera that will take good quality pictures, and allow you minimal chance to alter the settings, then there are other cameras out there that will offer you better value for money.
Either way, I'd never advise buying a new camera, this one included, off the back of reading a review. You should always see that camera in person before making a decision. Visit a good camera store, where the staff should be more than happy...

300V vs 300D
Review of Canon EOS 300D by
Highguy18
Advantages: Canon quality, image quality, weight, price
Disadvantages: Easily scratchable, lens adaptions (see below), no film grain
...Before i start let me explain he differances between the Canon 300D and 300V-
300V - A mid range Canon FILM SLR (single lens reflex). this camera takes all kinds of colour / black and white / transparency etc. film but is NOT digital
300D - the subject of this review, the 300D is also a mid range Canon SLR but this version is Digital. Meaning that any pictures you take on the camera are stored on a compact flash card instead of film.
Now that the difference is obvious i will give a little technical detail for people who just want the facts.
Dimensions (WxDxH) - 14.2 cm x 7.2 cm x 9.9 cm
Weight - 560 g
Supported Flash Memory - CompactFlash
Picture quality - up to 6.30 million effective pixels
Lens Aperture - F/3.5-5.6
Focus Adjustment - Automatic, manual
Min Focus Range - 28 cm
Focal Length - 18 mm - 55 mm...

Mersedes 300 D - the car of my life !!!
Review of Mercedes 300 D by
pavlidze
Advantages: Very seldom breaking, and very soft, convenient car
Disadvantages: In Lithuania the parts cost very much
...For the beginning a little of histories.
Mercedes Benz W124 (it's a body type) debuted in the end of 1984. Having replaced on conveyor model with index W123. Per 1993 has been lead restyling as a result of which appearance and interior, and also the name has a little changed: since this year Mercedes W124 began to be called as an E - class mersedes. This Mercedes was issued with four types of body: sedan, coupe, five-door station wagon and a cabriolet. Quality of assembly of a body is very high, as well as anticorrosive stability. The interior is executed in monumental, dateless style, finishing materials are of very high quality. One of engines offered for Mercedes W124 is 300 D (such as i have), it is reliable and at duly service is capable to spend a floor of one million kilometers. The car possesses the soft suspender, wich...

The EOS 300D or Rebel
Review of Canon EOS 300D by
alistairr24
Advantages: Easy to use with vg manual overide and great features
Disadvantages: No external flash connection
...The EOS 300D or Rebel (US), what a great bit of kit, I sold my old Bronica medium format setup to buy this camera. I have not been disappointed in the slightest apart from the flash positioning, when taking close-up photos. It would be great if you could change the angle to gain. If you do a great deal of flash photography then I would recommend an external flash gun, using the hot shoe as the trigger point.
It only took around a day to familiarise myself with EOS 300D, which is all credit to the Canon quick guide and simple to use menu. The EOS 300D is very light considering it is a full size SLR camera, even with a 200 mm lens, but robust (after dropping mine twice).
The auto-focus system is accurate and easy to use, helping you to achieve the depth of field, maybe a few too many beeps!
The manual over-ride control dial...

D-link DP-300U for all your printing needs
Review of D-Link DP 300U by
craggybuk
Advantages: Link upto 3 printers on 1 IP address. Simple setup
Disadvantages: None
...Where I work, we have always purchased the HP Jetdirect print server devices. However, when we bought a whole load of Magicard badge printers we found out after several painful days that these only worked with the D-link DP300u print servers due to some strange setting within the printer. With this information, we were forced into buying the D-link blind with no time to do any background research or fact finding.
The D-link is a 3 port print server, 2 ports are serial with the other being USB. This means that upto 3 printers can be attached to the print server at any one time. At the time we bought them, they were around £80 each.
--Whats in the box--
The D-link print server comes in a very compact box with just enough room for the components. There is the print server itself which is nicely designed to comply...

Toshiba...leading us into a world of technology!
Review of Toshiba 42Z3030D by
cobainkurdt
Advantages: WOW...too many!!! Performance A*
Disadvantages: How dare you!
...INTRODUCTION
Toshiba have always been an excellent brand, along with a brilliant product portfolio (diverse range of products.) This product is a real treat: I use it ti watch HD (High Definition) movies, play games on HD ,watch home-movies I have made on my Toshiba Camileo Pro Camcorder and even use it to surf the net sometimes, instead of my Sony KDL.
RANGE OF FEATURES
Features of the Toshiba 42Z3030D (Z series): This product has 3 HDMI inputs, PC connectivity, along with 2 Scarts, Component and Composite video inputs, S-video input (in this day and age it is certainly an excellently designed product with all features of a successful LCD tv.) Synergising this product's frame rate allows this product deemed flawless.( A large problem with many LCD tvs is that they do not possess enough frame rates which causes poor...

Toshiba 15" LCD TV with Freeview
Review of Toshiba 15V330D by
sagitaria
Advantages: Slimline, lightweight, reliable
Disadvantages: Remote control is slow to respond
...can push them against a wall and hey presto, a whole new area of worktop space.
So, despite my old analogue working perfectly, it was time to consign it to the pavement outside. I never need worry about it being collected by the bin men. It'll be long gone before then. We can guarantee one of the locals, who regularly scour the streets for unwanted electrical items, will rescue it. Before too long, it'll re-appear down at the local market where someone will make a small profit.
After a bit of research, I decided to go for the Toshiba 15" 4:3, LCD, Integrated Digital TV with Freeview. Pricewise, it seemed to be very competitive and its performance was highly rated.
I'm very loyal to Toshiba anyway, especially when it comes to televisions and DVD players. I've always found them to be a very trustworthy brand, with few, if any...

Hello Tosh got a Toshiba ( i have)
Review of Toshiba 32 C 3030 D by
king_k_71
Advantages: Value for money, stylish picture quality
Disadvantages: 2 scart connections,sound quality
...) but you can always purchase a scart adaptor for a few pounds.
Skipping through the feature menus you can find many on colour sound etc, although in my personal opinion it could have done with a bit more bass even with the bass boost on,but again sound can be enhanced by an external source.
Our toshiba sits proudly on a black glass & chrome stand which with our black seperates it looks the part.
I would have liked to be able to adjust the hight of the tv but this is not an option, you can swivel the tv on it's stand though.
The remote control is very slim & stylish

Toshiba 32Z17B
Review of Toshiba 32Z17B by
alan74
Advantages: Excellent value for money/Great sound and Picture
Disadvantages: Very Heavy & Bulky
.../off timer and of course the remote control. You also get with it a pretty good quality stand, which is Silver in colour, the same as the TV itself.
It is very easy to link all your equipment to the TV, i.e.; Satellite, VCR, DVD, etc. via the back of the TV, it also has phono plugs and AV adaptor at the front of the TV. The TV also has its two main speakers at the front, along with the bass speaker which is situated at the front bottom; it also comes with two surround speakers.
The TV itself now is fairly outdated by the sleek new plasmas, but saying that, for the price it now costs, you do get a lot of TV for your money… its especially ideal for the movie person. These days the cost of this 'Little Monster' would be around £300 - £500, ebay is the place to look i'd guess!
