...not be the model for you. As a brand Toshiba a good, i would recomend them even if you do not pick this model. There are 4 usb ports, you can use wireless internet and netweorking, it has a cd drive and apparently the ability to burn CDs and DVDs, but for some reason i havnt got mine working yet - this may just be me being stupid tho! I am not great with computer hardware, so there are lots more things that this model has that i wouldnt be able to explain,so sorry about that. ...with the special tft monitor cleaner, just put on a cloth and everything comes off and leaves the monitor nice and gleaming! This laptop is very easy to use for any computer whizz or dummy (like me), as it is very easy to get to grips with. It has taken me all of a week to figure out where programmes are and stuff on here, more used to a computer! The ease is just incredable. ...The Toshiba Equium A110-233 is a very competent all-purpose computer, coming at a very reasonable price (I purchased mine online at Dixons for round about £460). The actual model itself looks stylish enough, though it lacks any particularly imaginative design flair. Suffice to say, however, that it isn't an ugly, clunky beast like some laptops to be found on the market. The screen is perfectly serviceable, with adequate resolution to handle the viewing of multimedia, and doesn't fall into the recent trend of laptops of being irritatingly minute. The processing capability of the hardware is certainly fit for purpose too - unless you plan on using memory-intensive games or image-editing software, it should satisfy your needs; certainly if you intend mostly to utilise Microsoft Office, the internet, and other software... ...The Toshiba Equium P200-1ED, is probably one of the best laptops which I have owned. Managed to get a great bargain at PC World (part of DSG International plc), laptop, laptop bag, anti-virus software, microsoft office 2007, wireless router and wireless printer for just £499.99. The laptop was well packaged, and includes the various accesories for power supply e.t.c. First set up took a while as I installed the various features. A bit of patience is worth it as the machine eventually springs to life. ...i first bought a Toshiba around about 4 or 5 years ago, it was a toshiba tecra m3, it was a lovely laptop until i dropped it and broke it, i decided that i would replace it with another toshiba because of the previous good reliability i had got from the machine, i thing that attracted me to this laptop was firstly the fact it was an operating system upgrade for me and secondly the superior specifications, the only down side being that there is no integrated bluetooth and trusted security platform, i found that the offers that were available at the time of purchase were very reasonable and i feel i got great value for money, i also think that the designer of this laptop has taken very great care with the general look and feel of the laptop and have put a lot of thought into the hardware they have supplied and it holds pride of place... ...a signal. the L20 is not Bluetooth enabled but works fine after adding a Dongle and downloading the appropriate software. I have had the Laptop now some six months and already I require a new screen which Toshiba have agreed to come and collect and deliver back once repaired this is due to the screen flickering and causing large random colour changes. I would not recommend this laptop to buyers as it doesn't seem as rugged as I thought it would be and would recommend you pay that bit extra and go for a more top end Laptop. I do recommend though the Toshiba Service & support whom when I contacted responded emmediatly.... Read review

...I have had my Toshiba laptop for just over 1 year. I wanted a sleek looking laptop which was not too heavy as I often take it with me when working away from home. At just over 2.5kg there are lighter models on the market, but I have no complaints in this area. I am not the most technical minded of people, so this review will be written from my point of view rather than listing the spec of the product. Pros 1GB memory and 80GB hard drive is more than enough for me. There is a lot of music, games and photos stored on the memory and I have never felt the performance was affected. Maybe this is down to the dual core processor, which my husband assures me is better than the bog standard Intel Celeron and the like. ...I'd only had one laptop before this, and, for the less computer-friendly out there, i'm going to make do without all the 'Intel Celeron' stuff, because i simply don't understand! All i know is that the laptop is Vista Capable. I love my laptop. It's very light, it is very thin, and has a very large screen. It has a black keypad, and silver surroundings, with a large monitor and black plastic surroudings. The outer casing is also black, the top of the laptop having a small silver metallic panel with Toshiba's logo on it. There are two small but potent speakers above the keyboard, and the mousepad is almost central, below the keyboard, with a touchpad, and a left and right mouse button. .... Overall: Its a lovely laptop for enterainment, i love sound and video quality. Toshiba did a good job designing this laptop but i would not under any circumstance recommend this as a notebook for serious gaming, regular carrying around... pretty heavy and might damage it - dispite the fact it has anti-shock features.
