...We have just bought this TV for the front room downstairs. All of our other TV's in the house are samsungbut after seeing this TV next to the Samsung we decided it was a better picture and it was cheaper! The Tv is very good quality. It is Full HD which means it can run things like a PS3 and a Sky Hd box in 1080p. Some TV's may say they are HD ready but that isnt the same quslity as Full HD. If you are planning on having a HD DVD player or something like that then you need a Full HD tv. If you are not fussed about HD then simply buy a TV that is Hd ready and you will save a bit of money or you can get a bigger one for the same price! If the HD thind confuses you just know that 1080p reffers to the resolution of the picture.This TV has a resolution of 1920x1080p. Advantages: Excellent picture quality, two HDMI, built in Freeview, PC connection, relatively low power consumption.
Disadvantages: nothing major found so far!

The fact that this set has two HDMI inputs shows that Toshiba have done well to further future-proof this TV, as many HD Ready TVs on the market only have one connection. ...The new regza wlt68 has just got released a few month ago wich allowed a massive pricedrop for his former model the wlt66. I bought the wlt66 in february in an online shop for an outstanding 890 pounds wich certainly was the best quality/price ratio at the moment. all the option i needed were present even if some of them were not as extended in a 1500 pounds model. Full HD . this set supports 1920/1080i via component and Hdmi. i read that it doesnot support 1080p but couldnot confirm it 2 Hdmi if you plan to get a ps3 and dont want to spend your time behind the tvset unplugging your home cinema in t he mean time play xbox360 in 1080 with the component input. the VGA input supports only 1280/1024 wich is a bit deceiving for those who got 1080i materials stored on their computer as you wont be able to play them... The purple haze in one corner had become something of a quirky trait to the X-Factor but it was annoying none-the-less. So we scoured the internet and found some good prices for LCD TV's. Hubby rather likes his XBox so we knew a plasma wouldn't do. But it was time to invest - and heavily invest we did. Our final choice was a Toshiba 37WLT66. .... Fantastic. The Toshiba SD340E also has another useful feature that I use frequently, the ability to show pictures. The digital camera has become the number one, over 35mm and most of the time, people do not print the pictures out, but instead show them to eachother on the camera itself or the computer. This is not brilliant and the Toshiba SD340E offers the ability to play pictures, providing they are burnt to a disc. This is a superb feature since you can show friends and family pictures in the comfort of your own home. Most DVD players have the ability to play CDs, but the quality is poor. Although not as good as a dedicated CD player, the Toshiba SD340E does offer good audio performance. ...We purchased our toshiba 32" lcd tv 6 months ago now and continue to be very pleased with it,one of the main reasons for us purchasing this t.v was we wanted the style,features ie hd ready,size,etc but not having to break the bank,after many trips to currys,dixons,comet etc and checking out almost every tv within our price range £500-£650 we decided that the toshiba ticked all the right boxes,with a sale price of £529.00 It was generally easy to install and if you follow the on-screen menus you cannot really go wrong. Unfortunataly on the back there are only 2 scart connections a pain when you have a sky+box,a dvd player & seperate vcr,and when the kids want to play their game consoles you have to use the yellow,red & white connections on the side,(we are currently saving for sky hd box which iam hoping will free one of the scarts...
