...The Toshiba Satellite L500 is the same as most other toshiba laptops. It looks stylish and can do all the basic functions that you would want for a laptop. However, when you use it, you dont feel very comfortable because it feels very cheap. The keyboard is very flimsy and feels like it is about to break every time you type something and the mouse pad and buttons do not respond well. However, the number pad on the right hand side of the keyboard is great as it makes it so easy to type numbers. You can buy this laptop with a range of processors and sizes of harddrive so you can choose the one which suits you best. The display is actually very good but the battery life could have been improved. On my model it will last for a maximum of 2.5 hours on its lowest power setting. Toshiba has its popular range of satellite series notebooks and now sometimes ago they launched business notebook in 17" screen range with latest features and better performance. Due to technology growth, notebook doesn't remain latest one after 5-6 months. So that every notebook that has launched today will be out dated after half an year. Upgradation of notebook is not easy and maximum peoples don't like this as they either go for new product or keep satisfy with old one. SO we can't say that this is new one as an evergreen...

Samsung SGH-P300

Advantages: It's tiny !
Disadvantages: Could do with an "OK" button in the middle of the nav-pad...

...Well, having seen this about on t'internet for a while, when my O2 contract was up for renewal last week, this was the one I had to have ! Having once been a dedicated "Nokia only" man, my mind is definitely opening having recently owned and used a Samsung E710 & D500 so I was certainly optomistic about this one. It arrived on Friday afternoon in a lovely box containing the following items: - SGH-P300 phone itself - Leather flip case / additional battery - Stereo hands free headset - Wall power charger - USB connnector cable - User manual - Software CD The phone is absolutely tiny, the same size as a credit card at just 86mm x 54mm and only a little bit thicker at 8.9 mm. Being this thin means, I guess, that carrying it around in my back pocket (oh so tempting) is really not a good idea just in case I sit down and snap...

...i first bought a Toshiba around about 4 or 5 years ago, it was a toshiba tecra m3, it was a lovely laptop until i dropped it and broke it, i decided that i would replace it with another toshiba because of the previous good reliability i had got from the machine, i thing that attracted me to this laptop was firstly the fact it was an operating system upgrade for me and secondly the superior specifications, the only down side being that there is no integrated bluetooth and trusted security platform, i found that the offers that were available at the time of purchase were very reasonable and i feel i got great value for money, i also think that the designer of this laptop has taken very great care with the general look and feel of the laptop and have put a lot of thought into the hardware they have supplied and it holds pride of place...

It also have Dual layer DVD drive we can play movies in that and it is very fast and easy to use. we also get some free stuff also with laptop like Google Earth,McAfee Internet Security Suite 2008 (30 days subscription),Google PicasaToshiba DVD Player, Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student Edition (Trial) and many more these are some of the important ones If u realy want to save money then go for this...

...The samsung p300 is the latest mobile from samsung at the minute. It is the size of a credit card and is 9mm thick which is slightly smaller than the Motorola V3 that was released. The features this handset has is as follows: 1.3 Megapixels camera Bluetooth mp3 player back up battery built into wallet 80mb of memory The memory is very small but can still hold consistant amounts of music and pictures that will allow you to play through the bulit in mp3 player. For those of you who drive this is a fab phone it has bluetooth allowing you to connect it up with a wireless headset for driving, as you know it is against the law to drive with a phone held to your ear this will save you a fine!! The handset is only available on o2 at the momment which makes it difficult to find. The handset price is £349.99 unfortunatly this...

...I have had this laptop for a little while now and have already had to send it back to Toshiba for repair! not a good start. When i first got this laptop i thought that it was too good to be true for the price and i was right, maybe it is just my luck but i do not rate this laptop very high. At first with not many files or programmes on it it was a perfect laptop, ran fast and had great Wifi signal, as soon as i downloaded an AVG it started to run VERY slowly. When i say slowly i mean slow, i could start up the laptop go make a sandwich and a cup of tea and it would still be loading when i got back, if you do not download an AVG then it is perfect! the visual display on this laptop is top quality and the sound output, not only this but the battery life is quite good for such a high output laptop which is very pleasing...

Save up some dosh to buy this Tosh...iba

Advantages: Fast, Portable, Comfortable and Sleek, HD Resolution, Toshiba support is brilliant!

...that law legal. So the laptop, it's got plenty of positives and only a few negatives. And if you've read my other reviews, I like to get the negatives out of the way first. NEGATIVES I'll get straight to the point, the graphics card is seriously bad, there's no way around it. It's a new thing where your computers RAM is used to power some of the graphics, like video and pictures. However this won't work with high-end games like the Call of Duty series or Crysis. This however, isn't a laptop you'd buy if you were wanting one for gaming, so it's not a major draw back. Another bad point is the durability, which isn't great. The lid can be pushed in, revealing it is fairly hollow apart from the screen and its components. I thought this a bit stupid as Toshiba are just wasting money making more material, why not just make it thin and tight guys...

PRICE GUIDE Available from toshiba-europe.com but online there are very few stockists of this particular model. Depending on availability I know that PCWorld, Dixons and Currys all stock Toshiba products. The price range of the Toshiba Equium L300 Series is £350 - £400 generally. If you cant find this particular model but are interested in other models of similar specifications here are some models that perhaps fit the bill: Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-156 (Very similar but faster processor at 1.86Ghz). Toshiba Satellite Pro A300-109 (Faster processor and double the internal memory). Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-154 (Faster processor and double memory). More hard disk. Anyway the L300-146 model...
