...Basic overview: The portege m200 is a nifty little item. you can use it as a normal laptop but also have the ability to swivel the screen round and make it lie flat like a tablet. it comes with a tablet pen so you can write on the screen whenever. I will say that in this review i am going to give my opinion and what i have experienced, i am not going to list all its features, just things that i love and the not so good parts. first of all, it is a well rounded machine, i can play call of duty 2 on it which is impressive, my 2ghz celeron desktop had problems running that. the graphics card will not dissapoint, and the 2GHZ centrino is a blessing, i can do lots on the laptop and not experience any problems. He'd used it continuously for about a year and it was showing its flaws but after a bit of tweaking it's been a dream, and believe me I'm no light user either! Mostly I use it to develop software (Visual Studio 2005, C#, .NET) and have it weighted down with SDK's. ...to the small screen but I have no had any woes there either. Leaving it running for hours on end seems to have no effect, no noisy fans and no excessive heat. If you dig one of these out in the aiport lounge then your a god. The one that really got me was the warranty. You get a full 3 year manufacturers warranty with the latop, something you would normally have to pay extra for from other manufacturers. Toshiba suppor is always 2nd to none for laptops. You also get a full set of manuals already installed on the PC along with a variety of backup applications that run on your behalf.
