...The Toshiba Regza is a great Television for those looking to get good value for money. The flat, LCD, wall mountable Regza, compared to other brands, will not break the pounds at around £800-£900. Visually, the Regza 46" is plain. In order to wall mount the set a bracket needs to be purchased seperately, this can be very expensive (a couple hundred pounds). If buying the television to sit on the floor, ensure the price you pay does include the stand. The Regza is easy enough to wall mount, however it does pertrude from the wall considerably compared with other, more expensive models. The Regza is an easy television to watch, with lovely colour tones and a clear picture even in sunlight. Adjusting the screen is a little difficult unless you read the manual first, as settings are complicating compared to older TV models... Read review

REMOTE CONTROL This Toshiba model even carries the Toshiba's Regza Link ( based on wireless HDMI technology) so you can control other Regza Link apparatus through a single remote...which makes life easier (if you have other Regza Link devices...which I personally do not.) CONCLUSION This truly innovative product must be bought....I believe (others may disagree) that this 42 inch LCD tv is the best medium sized LCD tv available as of now....and it certainly beats many of Panasonic's and Sony's LCD tvs (Panasonic and Sony are amongst the leading competitors for LCD tvs with Toshiba)! ...We purchased our toshiba 32" lcd tv 6 months ago now and continue to be very pleased with it,one of the main reasons for us purchasing this t.v was we wanted the style,features ie hd ready,size,etc but not having to break the bank,after many trips to currys,dixons,comet etc and checking out almost every tv within our price range £500-£650 we decided that the toshiba ticked all the right boxes,with a sale price of £529.00 It was generally easy to install and if you follow the on-screen menus you cannot really go wrong. Unfortunataly on the back there are only 2 scart connections a pain when you have a sky+box,a dvd player & seperate vcr,and when the kids want to play their game consoles you have to use the yellow,red & white connections on the side,(we are currently saving for sky hd box which iam hoping will free one of the scarts... I never need worry about it being collected by the bin men. It'll be long gone before then. We can guarantee one of the locals, who regularly scour the streets for unwanted electrical items, will rescue it. Before too long, it'll re-appear down at the local market where someone will make a small profit. After a bit of research, I decided to go for the Toshiba 15" 4:3, LCD, Integrated Digital TV with Freeview. Pricewise, it seemed to be very competitive and its performance was highly rated. Advantages: flat lcd screen, good sound, mounts on wall.
Disadvantages: motion blur watching fast moving objects

...of a player or the ball you get a ghosting or motion blur, this is because the TV only has a 25ms response time. LCD tv's are best under 15ms, but how often would you watch sport on a 14" TV. Teletext is easy to use with the remote which includes fasttext. Another television from Toshiba that they can be proud of, looks good easy to use and fantastic to watch. Thanks for reading... ...) and I have to say it has really improved my experience of watching films. In regards to television transmissions I feel the quality is good but I only had a very old Toshiba before. The colours seem more vibrant, most notable in children's television. The sounds is considerably better and clearer. Last night I watched Planet Earth on BBC 1 ( how good was that? simply stunning) and the quality of the picture and sound was fantastic. *** Freeview **** No I'm not referring to those people who hang around outside my window sneaking a look at my television. No in fact this television had a built in freeview tuner which means I benefit from about an extra 40 channels. To be frank most of these are useless and show poor quality programmes or repeats. ...just bought this yesterday as just moved out and needed a bigger television. was going for a 40in but 32in seemed a more reasonable choise. was originally going to go for a samsung 32in but then noticed this one that had just been released. its is under toshibas new regza range, i decided on this one other then the samsung as it had a lot larger contrast ratio compared to alot of the other 32in lcds. it has a 20000:1 ratio the best i have seen recently was a sony at 10000:1, the screen pixels are 1366. all together it makes colours look fantastic and bright and dark colours clear and black looks black and not gray like some televisions. it has 2 hdmi connections, 2 scart connections, 1 component. with plenty of other connections that are needed. sound comes from a speak built in from and is not bad for a tv, but will get surround... ...this end of line 27" widescreen lcd flat television and just had to buy it. The only trouble was, that being end of line meant that you could not order it for delivery, so I did a search of all my local stores until I found one and we reserved it for collection the next day. My husband came home with the tv, we unpacked it and installed it so easily, it was a dream. The Techinical description of this television in the Argos catalogue is Bush LCD27TV005 27in Widescreen LCD TV. The Argos order number is: 529/2150 and we paid £399.99. From what I have read online, this television was retailing at around £600 originially, but at the moment, all of the LCD televisions seem to be 26 or 30/32 inches, so it looks like they are phasing out the 27" ones. ...Having been impressed with the improved quality when I ditched my old CRT computer monitor for an LCD model it was only going to be a matter of time before I would replace the televisions in my house with LCD systems, the picture is so much crisper and the colours a truer reflection of their real selves. With full size LCD televisions costing the best part of one thousand pounds I decided to update my bedroom portable first just to make absolutely sure I was still enamoured by the improvement these displays give, and so it was that I popped into my local independent electronics shop and parted with the £400 necessary to make the Toshiba 17WL46B my own. Maybe a bad idea because I have never written a review about a TV, but considering what is out there so far ( I couldn't really find any information on it before I bought it) , it will hopefully be of help to some of you.
