...my laptop, the only thing I didn't appreciate was all the stickers over the inside (to the left of the mouse pad), there is a "Desiged for XP" sticker, and "Intel Inside" sticker, one "Bundled with MS OneNote 2003" and a final "Surround Sound" which personally I dont like (hense I removed the last two) I have recomended this laptop to other people who have been looking, Toshiba have many different spec's in the Satellite Pro models, and the final thing about this laptop, the name, "what laptop do you have?" There is nothing more I love saying then "a Satellite Pro"... Read review

...This is my second Toshiba Satellite. Until recently I have been using a slightly dated but very effective Toshiba Satellite L10-114. Having recently purchased this new one though, I have to say there is a substantial improvement over my old lap top. I run my own business from home and my lap top is my life line and main source of income so it always has to be Toshiba for me. They are so reliable and trustworthy that I will not risk any other make now. The L40-12T is simply a stunning looking machine and creates an instant wow factor - key when using it in front of clients at presentations etc. It looks like a far more expensive machine than it really is. This is sadly quite key in such a material world. The resolution of the screen is of the highest order in my opinion. For some reason - and there may be a technical reason... Read review

...Right so where do I start, last August I was asked if I would like to study for a diploma with work. Now being a father of four I didn't relish the idea of having paperwork lying around and finding it had been used to make a hat or a modern art painting, so I decided to invest in a laptop to do my work, also I was told that the final exams could be done on computer and this made sense to me. So I hot footed to my local independent computer retailer and asked them what they stocked and what they recomeneded, being a small shop they only stock good quality affordable laptops and the one recomended to me was the Toshiba Satellite Pro l10 and at just over £450 it was a snip. ...The Toshiba Satellite Pro A60 laptop is ideal for entry level home users, and possibly students who have some time on their hands to sort stuff out. I wouldn't say it was suitable for the lower end of the business market, as Toshiba seem to be targeting with this product. I could be wrong however, maybe I was just unlucky! I have had mine for 8 months now, after previous satellite old faithful, which I had owned for about 7 years, gave up the ghost in the middle of a project, and I needed a cheap laptop quickly. I was impressed by the blue design which veers away from the boring black/grey you're used to seeing on the budget end notebooks. ...The Toshiba L10 is one of the best budget laptops around, and for the price you pay, it offers so much to keep you busy. The Toshiba L10 features an Intel Celeron M 360 1.4 GHz processor (400 MHz data bus) which can be upgraded to a faster Intel Celeron M 370 1.5 GHz should you choose to do so. I doubt you'd notice all that difference in speed and across the e-shops I've browsed there seems to be little difference price-wise between the 1.4 GHz and the 1.5 GHz models. The notebook usually ships with either 256mb or 512mb ram, with about £30 difference in price between the two models. I opted in for the 512mb model and when comparing with my friend's 256mb version of the same system, I can safely say that I noticed a tremendous increase in general overall speed when using the computer. ...As a university student I felt it was highly recommended to have a laptop that could be taken to uni rather than having to wait till returning home to get work done. This Toshiba Satellite was chosen for the great value for money it appeared to offer, with the manufacturer Toshiba you expect a product that you know will deliver solid performance and this is no different. Easily picked up for just a few hundred pounds it comes equiped with everything you would expect from a top manufacturer, a high quality graphics card which makes it capable of playing many of todays higher end game. Built in wireless compatibilites make connecting to the internet outside the home easy and is easily as good as the sort of laptop that many people would pay hundreds of pounds for just for a few extra numbers in the product information whereas the change...
