...This home projection system was quite costly to buy - at £900 from the tesco webstie less than 12months ago. This was my first ever projector and i am not tech minded so i had no idea what i was looking for - all i wanted was something that could project to a cinema size standard. When it arrived i was impressed with its size, quite compact and the black colouring gave off a professional finish. It was also really easy to set up, literally plugged it in and inserted a DVD. It now sits comfortably on my side table in the middle of the room - with just the power cable on show - preferably i would like NO wires on show, but i cant have everything. For my first projector i am impressed with the quality of the screen - i dont have one of those white background sheets, i just project it onto my cream wall and the quality is top...

...The Toshiba Satellite L500 is the same as most other toshiba laptops. It looks stylish and can do all the basic functions that you would want for a laptop. However, when you use it, you dont feel very comfortable because it feels very cheap. The keyboard is very flimsy and feels like it is about to break every time you type something and the mouse pad and buttons do not respond well. However, the number pad on the right hand side of the keyboard is great as it makes it so easy to type numbers. You can buy this laptop with a range of processors and sizes of harddrive so you can choose the one which suits you best. The display is actually very good but the battery life could have been improved. On my model it will last for a maximum of 2.5 hours on its lowest power setting. ...i first bought a Toshiba around about 4 or 5 years ago, it was a toshiba tecra m3, it was a lovely laptop until i dropped it and broke it, i decided that i would replace it with another toshiba because of the previous good reliability i had got from the machine, i thing that attracted me to this laptop was firstly the fact it was an operating system upgrade for me and secondly the superior specifications, the only down side being that there is no integrated bluetooth and trusted security platform, i found that the offers that were available at the time of purchase were very reasonable and i feel i got great value for money, i also think that the designer of this laptop has taken very great care with the general look and feel of the laptop and have put a lot of thought into the hardware they have supplied and it holds pride of place...

Save up some dosh to buy this Tosh...iba

Advantages: Fast, Portable, Comfortable and Sleek, HD Resolution, Toshiba support is brilliant!

...that law legal. So the laptop, it's got plenty of positives and only a few negatives. And if you've read my other reviews, I like to get the negatives out of the way first. NEGATIVES I'll get straight to the point, the graphics card is seriously bad, there's no way around it. It's a new thing where your computers RAM is used to power some of the graphics, like video and pictures. However this won't work with high-end games like the Call of Duty series or Crysis. This however, isn't a laptop you'd buy if you were wanting one for gaming, so it's not a major draw back. Another bad point is the durability, which isn't great. The lid can be pushed in, revealing it is fairly hollow apart from the screen and its components. I thought this a bit stupid as Toshiba are just wasting money making more material, why not just make it thin and tight guys...

In my line of business it is of the utmost importance that clients and other members of staff can see the charts we present and read through the sometimes quite detailed business plans we prepare. Our two new conference rooms are now equipped with the Toshiba TDP S35 projector, a relative bargain purchase for only 420 Euros (approximately £300). I cannot comment on the actual decision to purchase these projectors over the other brands and models available on the market as I had no hand within the decision making process, but I will provide my opinion on what they are like to use...

...working for a poor art gallery we needed somthing cheap but effective for our shows. i had a good look at everything out there and ended up with 2 of these for my £900 rather than just one. the specs were quite good for the money in fact i could not find anything else as good for the price i got mine. the 800x600 resolution with a 1400ANSI lumen light makes a great picture but only in low light, i found the picture faded if i turned on any thing more than a 40w table lamp, the contrast ratio (difference between black and white) is 2000:1,which is very respectable for such a cheap projector and with a projection size from 30-300 inches with good zoom and focus in the 3-33 foot projection distance. there was little complaint from the bosses about their useability. the Toshiba TDP S20 comes packed with connectors for connecting...
