Toshiba Satellite U400-138 (User Review)
Advantages: Ultra-Portable, light weight, 13.3", Intel Core2duo, Centrino2 (Latest Technology) laptop
Disadvantages: NOTHING AT ALL
...Notebook Review
Toshiba Satellite U400-138
-The little wonder; Laptop at its best!
Why to buy?
Let me first tell you that I had owned laptops before (5 of them). A month back I purchased an HD Camcorder and thus, started shopping for something more powerful, to do my HD Movie Editing. I knew it was time for a core2duo model. After contemplating few of the latest brands I chose the Toshiba Satellite U400-138, about 10 days back. Have used it vigorously since; and am already overwhelmed by this Little "Powerhouse".
Main Specifications:
You'll get the detailed config. of this notebook everywhere, specifically www.toshiba-europe.com. Here's why I chose to buy it:
-Intel Centrino2 (latest notebook technology)
-Core2duo (A superpower multi-processor)
-13.3" Display (boy, here we are talking about mobility)
-Light Weight...

Typical Toshiba
Advantages: Ease of use, memory capacity
Disadvantages: Quality, feel, value for money
...The Toshiba Satellite L500 is the same as most other toshiba laptops. It looks stylish and can do all the basic functions that you would want for a laptop. However, when you use it, you dont feel very comfortable because it feels very cheap. The keyboard is very flimsy and feels like it is about to break every time you type something and the mouse pad and buttons do not respond well. However, the number pad on the right hand side of the keyboard is great as it makes it so easy to type numbers. You can buy this laptop with a range of processors and sizes of harddrive so you can choose the one which suits you best. The display is actually very good but the battery life could have been improved. On my model it will last for a maximum of 2.5 hours on its lowest power setting.
Overall, this laptop is reasonable at most things but not...

TOSHIBA
Advantages: Useful
Disadvantages: There are plenty of better models
...certainly un-suitable for gaming on as it has neither the processing speed or memory for such a venture. So a good home laptop.
PRICE GUIDE
Available from toshiba-europe.com but online there are very few stockists of this particular model.
Depending on availability I know that PCWorld, Dixons and Currys all stock Toshiba products.
The price range of the Toshiba Equium L300 Series is £350 - £400 generally.
If you cant find this particular model but are interested in other models of similar specifications here are some models that perhaps fit the bill:
Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-156 (Very similar but faster processor at 1.86Ghz).
Toshiba Satellite Pro A300-109 (Faster processor and double the internal memory).
Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-154 (Faster processor and double memory). More hard disk.
Anyway the L300-146 model...

Toshiba NB100
Advantages: Nice look, good battery life.
Disadvantages: Too small.
...actually pretty impressive.
Function
The notebook works quite well with wireless internet and doesn't cut off often as I have found with wi-fi on some other laptops.
It also has an impressive battery life, in a recent car journey, I found it lasted about 3 and 3/4 hours, easily enough time for all of the film I was watching as well as some of another.
It is available in two versions, Ubuntu Linux and Windows XP Home., but the Linux has 512Mb of RAM and an 80Gb hard disk, the Windows one has 1Gb of RAM and a 120Gb drive. I personally own the windows version, since I know more about the operating system and prefer the high memory levels.
The rest of it's specifications are pretty average for a note book and it runs as such.
Overall
The Toshiba NB100 is great if you're japanese and/or believe things should be made...

Good Toshiba
Advantages: features, styling, usb port, 1080p, 100hz
Disadvantages: speakers
...The Toshiba 37XV635DB has a lot of features for the price of £550 which in my opinion makes it really good value for money for a branded good looking LCD TV. I like the glossy Toshiba styling and thin frame.
This TV has 100hz meaning you get a smooth nice flowing picture and with full hd 1080p & upscaling of freeview and hdmi inputted content this is a great sharp quality TV.
The TV has 4 hdmi ports which is more than enough for a blu-ray player, ps3 and sky+ hd. It also has a USB port where by you can playback divx movies without the need for a dvd or dedicated media player and this is a superb feature. The 20w speakers are good for a thin TV although a separate system would be best as with most TVs.
Toshiba also tout this as an eco-panel which uses less energy and can be switched off not just left on standby. The Toshiba logo which...

Grab Your Coat.. You've pulled
Advantages: Sleek performance and an excellent MP3 player
Disadvantages: Navigation is difficult to start with
...Your halfway through a move with everybody desperately trying to get in touch with you, what's the worst thing that can happen? To me the worst thing was that mobile phone could die an untimely death; sods law that's exactly what happened to me. But this chain of events led me to my little beauty the LG U400 and without a doubt it's my top mobile phone yet.
Having hunted high and low for a mobile phone I did not quite mind I ended up in the 3 shop where I obtained the rather sleek looking LG U400 or THE MUSICBOX as its otherwise known. The phone is available on PAY AS YOU GO priced £229 with £30 credit included or free on contract. However you want it it's only available on the 3 mobile network.
The phone itself is roughly 3 inches tall, and 1 and ¼ inches wide. it's a stylish blue and black with an eye catching dial as your main...

A great value Toshiba!
Advantages: Great Picture. Sound. Looks.Durability
Disadvantages: None really
...Hello all and welcome to this review.
3 Years ago it was decided that we needed a Tv in our kitchen. Well it was the room that everyone spent the most time in..... So I don't know why we didn't have one sooner. While browsing the Argos catalogue i saw this one, only £135 for a Toshiba 21 inch..... Bargain!
We ordered over the phone and a few days later this thing was up and running:) But be careful when opening this, it is a very heavy unit and you could hurt yourself! Always get the Argos man to install it for you! Haha
It came in a rather bland box with Toshiba stamped on every face including the Eco friendly signs. I was glad that Toshiba use eco boxes:) makes me feel better about my purchase!
In the box there was:
This lovely Tv
A remote
An aerial cable (Unusual, have to buy them seperate usually!)
and full...
