...The beautiful South are my favourite band without a shadow of a doubt and this album is a selecetion of ther greatest hits from there first four albums which spanned between the years of 1990 and 1995. 'Carry on up the Charts' released in '95 was a massive success going triple platinum and being one of the biggest seeling albums of the nineties. And it deserved to do so. This album is a classic and contains some of the beautiful souths best songs. it shows their unique style of music off to its best. Its very hard to group the music on this album into a catergory. I would probably describe it as alternative rock-pop with a touch of country thrown in for luck. Advantages: Lots, if you look beyond the person.
Disadvantages: Lots, if you just look on the outside!

...as SOMETHING good about them. That could be anything. What's really nice is drawing out that good in people and seeing the happy, smiling faces. Seeing happy faces is another beautiful thing. In the definition it says about a beautiful woman. But, a beautiful woman is someone like Naomi Campbell. Tall, slim and sexy. 'Beautiful' in the eye of the media, society and culture. But, what is she like really? I'm not picking on Naomi. I'm sure she's very nice. I'm just using her as an example. These people may be beautiful to look at and what men lust over. But as a person they may be totally and utterly ugly inside. Who knows? It's the same the other way round as well. Seeing men with a 6-pack and nice bronzed body is nice. Advantages: Its Michael Buble!
Disadvantages: Poor songs

...Seeing as I had reviewed the film ‘Totally Blonde’ I thought I might aswell review the soundtrack that goes with it! Michael Buble who stars in the film sings this soundtrack, the tracks were also sung by him in the film and some incorporated into the plot of the film. The songs were written by the films director and writer, Andrew Van Slee, as he is a big lover of jazz music. The songs on this CD sound ok while they are playing, but few are catchy enough to resonate for any extended length of time, they are rather bland and don’t have the feeling in them that is normal with Michaels music. Michael tried to stop this CD being released as he believes it is far from his best work and as it was before he got his big break he was unable to make any demands as to how the music should sound. My criticism of the evolutionary argument is that in order for the evidence to be strong we need strong figures with nearly 100% concordance rates, because after all, evolution suggests that out perseption of beauty is completely and totally genetically based. Evolution chucks a few environmental factors in but in general it suggests our modern behaviour is almost entirely a result of qualities we evolved thousands of years ago and have retained. As it happens most studies do not have 100% concordance rates, in fact most studies have only just statistically significant figues. I am avoiding quoting any studies because I have't got my text books on me, and Wikipedia is being useless! ...start I actually want to get one thing clear – the phrase beauty is only skin deep can be looked at in a few ways but the way I am choosing to see it, and always have, is as a statement that you cannot determine someone’s personality through their looks, and there is also a good chance that if you like their looks you wont like their personality. No The concept that if a person has beauty on the outside they must obviously be really horrible on the inside is totally ridiculous. Looks are what nature gives you and it’s my strong belief that the vast majority of your personality is derived from nurture, with only the basics provided by your genes. ...will learn to treat others the way they have been treated. Growing up as a spoiled beauty queen, they may have a great lack of respect for others, having always come first when it came to owning the best clothes and facial treatments. However, the total opposite may be the case, for those who are seldom placed first, second or third. Their personal feelings of self-worth and self-esteem may be hugely affected, even if there is a loving parent there to comfort them. After all, these parents have continually put a great emphasis on beauty and the child can only believe that this is what matters and what it will take to gain attention from the pushy parent. The name rang some bells in my hung-over stupor and on returning home I investigated the contents of the pink box and lo and behold discovered a 15ml version of the product in question and resolved to try it out at the earliest possible opportunity. ...The beauty on the outside will soon turn ugly if what is on the inside is sour and twisted. How can anyone say that the Falkland's War Hero Simon Weston is not a beautiful person? If some of us had endured his total life change then maybe they would not have had the courage to still be here on this earth. Advantages: a good film with a message

...enough with his current life. He becomes very “taken” with one of his daughter’s friends and her flirting with him is one of the main factors influencing his life style change. We see his metamorphosis and at the same time his interactions with the other characters, all pursuing “beauty” - beauty in terms of body, mind and lifestyle. I’m not going to go into too much detail, as you should discover the storyline gradually as you watch the film. All the characters are introduced slowly and the film builds up to a fairly good climax. The pivotal character for me is the boy next door with the abusive father.
