...I have been looking for something to remove dead and dull skin from my face for a while. I am quite sensitive, so most exfoliating products are too harsh. The ones that I can use are then too weak! The dead skin then builds up on my face, and flakes appear under my makeup. Never ending circle of not quite getting it right! So, I decided to try some "Total Turnaround visible skin renewer" alongside my weak exfoliator, and after a week, I am really pleased with the results. The packaging of the product is nice and stylish - but it doesn't really fit into the "chuck it in the wash bag and disapear for the weekend" category of convient size! At least when you start to finish the pot, you will be able to get all 50ml of cream out of the container, so I suppose the above isn't too much of a negative point. The cream is white... ...using this product. After washing, I am left with an immaculate matte finish, only flawed by my spots! Obviously, a cleaner can't be expected to fight spots all on its own - a healthy, alcohol free diet and lots of sleep are whats needed for perfect skin, and my increasing desire for chocolate combined with my long, restless night do not help. But I am yet to see an improvement. Clearasil Total Control contains a "blemish fighting ingredient" with gentle exfoliating microspheres. By micro, they really do mean tiny - they hardly seem big enough to do their job, which is removing impurities from the skin. But apparently they do, and they are very gentle on more sensitive skin. ...too much of this, so that no matter how "moreish" it is, you'll be deterred from stocking up on many of these and then finishing them all in one go. So, you see, there are some positive aspects to even the drawbacks for this product. All that’s left for me to tell you is what is the best way to enjoy this ice cream. Personally, I think that you should enjoy it very, very slowly, eating it in small spoonfuls while rolling it around in your mouth. That, and alone - yes, totally and completely alone, because if there’s someone else around, you’ll just have to share it with them, and trust me, once you’ve tasted this flavour of Haagen-Dazs, you’re not going to want anyone else to get their hands on it! Advantages: Great moisturising properties, absorbs quickly

However, I was intrigued by the launch of the Olay Total effects range a while ago, which promised to help reverse the 7 signs of aging – just what I need! ...I've always used Oil of Olay liquid (or as i knew it Oil of Ulay),as i found it perfect for my problem skin.If i used an ordinary cream it would bring me out in spots as my chin can get quite greasy, but the liquid was perfect as it was so light. Then one day i had a sample of Oil Of Olay Total Effects sent through the door, it promised younger looking skin, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.So, it being a freeby i immediately slapped some on, and i noticed the difference straight away.My skin felt smooth, and as the cream is a sort of creamy colour it gave my skin a lovely glow,also the cream has a divine smell to it. When i next went shopping i looked for Total Effects to see how much it cost, and was shocked, and disapointed to find that it cost about £18.So, i told my husband that as i couldn't afford to just go out and buy... ...sturdy and all fully washable, well barring the tubs…. It is just such a shame that it fails miserably to deliver anything remotely like ice cream, milkshake more like!!
