...I had bought Oil of Olay because the women in my family had used it, and in a way it just sort of got handed down from generation to generation(like fine jewelry). My mother had used it ever since I can remember...so I figured why not give it a try! Advantages: Its Michael Buble!

...Seeing as I had reviewed the film ‘Totally Blonde’ I thought I might aswell review the soundtrack that goes with it! Michael Buble who stars in the film sings this soundtrack, the tracks were also sung by him in the film and some incorporated into the plot of the film. The songs were written by the films director and writer, Andrew Van Slee, as he is a big lover of jazz music. The songs on this CD sound ok while they are playing, but few are catchy enough to resonate for any extended length of time, they are rather bland and don’t have the feeling in them that is normal with Michaels music. Michael tried to stop this CD being released as he believes it is far from his best work and as it was before he got his big break he was unable to make any demands as to how the music should sound. ...into the conjecture. This is how I started buying Total Film. Total Film, published every four weeks, is one of the market leaders, up there with Empire and Premiere. Of the three, Total Film is my favourite because it feels more accessible than the other two. I enjoy the sense of humour exhibited amply by the writing team and simply find the features that I require easier to locate and absorb. It's a glossy little affair, with plenty of pictures and captions to keep me both entertained and absorbed. It also avoids the trap of taking itself too seriously. Empire, for example, is committed to being the "best movie mag on the planet" but a comparison between the two is something like Coronation Street versus Eastenders - both similarly pitched intellectually, but whilst one is having a laugh, the other one is intense about being, well, intense. ...for those with an absolute lack of musical knowledge such as myself. The Attatched CD makes tackling the presented songs and excerpts much easier to learn. Each week the "Classic Track" section allows readers to master a legendary anthem of the past - a favourite of mine and great for lovers of classic rock aswell as any aspriing guitarist. The quality of the journalism is often of a very high quality and the indepth interviews and subjective, non-biast approach to the reviews if very refreshing and an enjoyable read. However as with most magazines Total guitar must be a t least a third advertisment. The editors to it seem make an effort to ensure all tastes are catered for but I can't help feel that Punk Rock and Metal fans are often given more than their fair share. ...Introduction ~~ Total Film and Empire are probably the two most popular and widely available film magazines in England. Empire has been going the longest, (for as long as I can remember) and Total Film has been now going several years. Both magazines include cinema reviews, videos to rent and buy, DVD’s, information on up-and-coming films and interviews with actors, directors, etc. I usually buy Total Film but have bought Empire a few times and still tend to buy it if there’s nothing good on Total Film. The Reviews ~~ Well considering you buy these mags to find out what to see at the flicks or to decide what film to rent or buy this bit is very important. I cannot really say which magazine has better reviews as all of the reviews are wrote by different people. Most of the reviews in the two magazines are high quality and useful... Read review

...I have been a very busy reader of many fishing magazines. Over the last 15 years that i have been fishing i have subscribed to virtually all fishing mags. Alot of them i have discarded and never bothered with again. There's always a couple that you stick with out of habit like anglers mail and times. Then there are is always one that blows your mind. Total Carp is in the latter. When i first started carping everything was totally confusing. So being a man of fair intelligence i decided that the best approach was to read as much as i could about my pending quest. Well i found that the more i could read the more someone could write.
