The Apple Ipod touch is no exception to this. The feature which makes this mp3 player stick out the most is the use of a full touch screen. This means that the unit can be controlled by 2 buttons and the main screen without any problem. The touch screen also gives the MP3 player a PDA (personal digital assistant) feel to the device. This allows for a full qwerty keyboard to be displayed on the small device. Although this feature sounds impressive, it can be very hard to use. Most people believe that the touch screen on the Ipod touch is the same that appears on the later released Iphone. ...Apple have taken a completely new direction with the 'touch', and boy has it worked. Using the same technology found in the iPhone, scrolling has never been easier - you won't miss your click wheel at all! Boasting a gorgeous large colour screen, watching video on the move has never been this good. The music still sounds as good as ever, however the supplied apple earphones to leave to a bit to be desired. This problem can however be overcome with a simple upgrade of the earphones, allowing you to use your device to it's full potential. One new feature this iPod brings is it's wifi connectivity. Although I was rather sceptical at first, surfing the web on this is a breeze. ...Since purchasing my iPod Touch on the day they launched I've been nothing but pleased with my purchase. The storage space isn't currently an issue for me, I could however see it becoming a problem in the future, or for people with a large library of music. In that case I would recommend the 32GB model, or perhaps the iPod Classic. I did encounter one problem with the headphones breaking , but Apple quickly sent me a replacement and the broken ones were sent back, free of charge. The problem was that the left ear bud became very distorted (especially when a lot of bass was present) and a lot of static could be heard alongside the music. Did I mention that the iPod Touch has been beautifully designed by Apple's superb design team, making the iPod not only functionally pleasing but very aesthetically pleasing too. The touch screen... After researching the memory options available to me (8GB and 16GB) I decided to go for the 16GB option as it did not cost too much extra and I thought that I would use it to store some movies. When I received my iPod and started it up, I found the interface very familiar as I have owned two previous iPods and an Apple MacBook. I found that the iPod Touch was very easy to use and the Touch Screen was very user-friendly. The thing I like most about the iPod Touch is the looks and feel of it. ...its hard to write a review of a product like the Ipod touch, because every one of you have read everything about it somewhere else. I have to say that Ipod touch is simply something I've fallen in love with and find myself addicted to. I saw it in the Apple store before Christmas and I said to myself that this would be my next purchase. After pestering my parents, I got it for Xmas and they bought one for my sister as well (she is not into electronics) - she loved it almost as much as me and I've never seen her use her old MP3 player anywhere near as much as this. It is quite like the Iphone with the touch screen and you can do that pinch and zoom thing as well which i really like. ... 8GB iPod Touch As my boyfriend's birthday approached, I was panicking as to what to get him as men are a nightmare to shop for and I really wanted to get something exciting. I noticed that he kept borrowing my ipod nano and initially planned to get him one of his own but on the Apple website I saw the ipod touch and worked out that if I got him that then I could steal it and use it! From the Apple website, the 8GB iPod Touch cost me £199 with free postage and packing and a free optional engraving. I thought this was a reasonable price it was nice and simple to order it online. I chose the free engraving option and this enabled me to have a two line engraving on the back (top centre) of the ipod.
