It is accurate, generally easy to control and the screen doesn't scratch permanently (you do get temporary scratches, but these rub off easily). Another control is the microphone - I have only used this for 'blowing' games, not 'talking' games, however my experience of it is negative. It doesn't work, and you'll give yourself a nasty headache trying to blow into it anyway. -Extras- The range of extras are things like an alarm, a Wi-Fi chatroom and a customisable profile. Touch Magic

Advantages: Great sound quality, great applications

...at the bottom, these allows you to look through your playlists, artists, songs, albums or more. Just like you usually would get. The touch technology is brilliant when you play music, the pause, play, back, forward buttons are all accessible just by one touch of the finger. You control the volume not only at the side of the IPod but also on the screen by scrolling it across. The great addition that the second generation provides is the speakers installed within the IPod, they are not fantastic, but they do allow you to play your music out loud without using an IPod dock or anything like that. Videos I gave blood again today, and usually I have quite a hard time. Instead of 10 minutes it takes about 30-45 minutes to get blood out of me, so I took my IPod and lay down and turned on an episode of Bones. I so far only have 2 videos...

iTouch

Advantages: Brilliant
Disadvantages: Nono

..., therefore i'm glad i didn't upgarde to the larger memory, i think it would have been a waste! I am personnally most astounded by how functional the iTouch is, i did not realise half of what it did, and i most certainly didn't think that it would be like a hand held laptop, the only thing this thing is missing is a phone...and guess what Apple have for that...the iPhone. The screen on the iTouch is so perfectly clear that we tested is by having a look on google Earth and it was almost better than the computer I am typing on! Obviously i wouldn't recommend writing a ten page email on the iTouch, i thibnk this would be impossible and take hours, the machine is totally touch screen. But it does exactly what it is made for and it suprised me on so many levels. One piece of advice, which is pretty obvious, i think this is best kept at home...

Big laptop Small money

First , I would like to say , it can totally meet all requirements I expected from a good laptop. I also used it to watch TV including the programs on BBC Iplayer. Compared to my desk computer, I can feel the speed on my laptop was faster and the stability of the network was better. Second, it has nice overall design. Slim, Simple and sleek. You have three colors to choose . I chose the black one that matches from outside to inside. Nice laptop, FAB extended warranty!

Advantages: Good specs, fast, wonderful extended warranties
Disadvantages: Feels a bit flimsy, no indicator lights showing wifi connection, etc.

...This is really more a review of Dell's warranty than of the laptop itself, but as there was no section for such a thing I thought I'd combine the two. The laptop: It's a good little machine with pretty good specs for its price. You can already get more for your money than when we bought it just a few months ago, so check the current offers (make sure to look around the Web site, as I found by clicking on various offers I got the same machine for less) You can also now get a free upgrade to Windows 7 when that comes out later this year. It's fast, cute, and does everything we need. You can get it in a variety of colors, either for free if there is an offer on or for about 30 quid otherwise. Black is free whether an offer is on or not. Also, some have said it's not good for gaming -- that is probably only true if you are a hardcore gamer...

Dell Inspiron 1545 - good entry level laptop

Advantages: Cheap, good brand, lots of features,
Disadvantages: Probably not powerful enough for games, bottom of the market now

...family's files were lost in the reinstall, so I didn't even have to restore things from backup. Like other Inspiron laptops, the computer feels reasonably solid, weighing about 2.5kg. The finish is very shiny and doesn't feel cheap. The TrueLife screen offers excellent viewing quality, but is very reflective. I found the widescreen ratio to be a little bit hard to get used to - the screen is shorter and wider, so you have to page down more often. The computer connected easily to the wireless router, which was just as well because the Ethernet port came loose after only a few months. The battery life wasn't fantastic, but if you mainly use it plugged in, then this isn't an issue. The keyboard was much like any other laptop keyboard - obviously the keys don't go down as far as a regular keyboard that comes with a desktop and sound a bit clicky...

Nokia 5800 touch screen music phone

...The 5800 XpressMusic is a revolution for Nokia with it being the first touch screen phone produced by the manufacturer. With its slim lined shape it is an easy phone to hold and to use. The stylus being made of plastic makes the phone as light as possible and easy to hold and to use with the screen. iTouch!

Advantages: Packed with applications, very handy and easy to use.
Disadvantages: Keyboard is hard to use, no flash player and not very durable without a case.

...such as Dailymotion. This, obviously, is a drawback. Hopefully, Apple will look into sorting this out for future versions. Other than that, the Safari browser is very good. It's fairly quick, like other browsers, it depends on your connection speed as to how fast your pages load. The iTunes store is a great inclusion on the device. I like the idea that you can be sitting out with your friends and if someone mentions a good song or you hear a good song then you can just access your iTunes and purchase the song (provided your in a wi-fi hotspot). It's really good. You can then listen to it using the iPod feature, which is what the device is built around. But the other functions kind of put the iPod section into the shadows. The touch screen is very responsive and so far, using my brothers 8GB version, I haven't encountered any problems...
