Description: The tourer 400 is a 4 person tent that has a central living space and two bedrooms, one to the right and one to the left. The main section is high enough for us to stand up in and both bedrooms are well sized. The tourer 400 is offered in khaki/dark green/pistachio colour scheme so may be a little on the boring side if you like a stand out colour for your tent but its functionality more than makes up for that. Had one of these since November as a replacement for my other halfs and mine's Renault Clio, as we wanted a bigger car to take the dogs to various places and be able to have them secure in a large enough boot but we did not specifically go out looking for a car. Advantages: Attractive Cruisor. Smooth accelleration and easy handling. Great suspension and ride.
Disadvantages: Heavy. Engine vibration above 85mph. Drags pegs on sharp turns.

The Renault Laguna Estate, sorry, Sports Tourer

Advantages: Stylish, well equipped, technology laden car
Disadvantages: Not the most practical of estates and the engine is a little fussy

Daytona 900 - Sports Tourer

Advantages: Triumph Brand. Good Finnish. Stable and predictable.
Disadvantages: Heavy, long reach to bars, parts expensive.

...This is my second Daytona 900, so I guess I like them. I had a VFR750 in between. The Daytona is a good long distance fast tourer. It is not a sports bike and if thats what you want I would look to one of the newer Daytonas or another bike altogether. It sweeps through bends and is very stable at speed but it doesn't have the fast steering of a sports bike or the insaine power band. The power is smooth and progresive, there is plenty but it doesn't come all in a rush like alot of sports bikes. The Daytona has a fantastic sense of presence and it is the kind of bike that makes people look to see what it is. Mine is bright red which also probably makes it more noticable. (My last one was black which was very difficult to keep clean) The seat is very comfortable and the pegs are not so high up to be cramped (I'm 5'10"). However it...

When getting rid of the Focus I went back to Renault and had a little look around the yard to see whether they had any used cars that took my fancy and then I saw ?. the one! Most of you will have seen the Mégane with the dodgy looking rear end and be undecided on whether you like it or not. Well the Mégane sport tourer is really a Mégane without the shaky bits and more boot space! I had seen one parked around the corner from our house when out walking the dog and thought that it looked quite smart. In the used car section of Renault I found 2 cars that interested me, a 1.9 dti for £12,995 and a 1.6 dynamique petrol car for sale at £10,995.
