The wheels turn easily and smoothly. It used to be that some 4-wheel buggies were hard to navigate but this one has no trouble turning a corner. Just to give you an idea I was in town today with my usual Starbucks in one hand and piloting the buggy with the other. I purchased my Graco travel system from Babies R Us for £260 and there was a promotion to get the £100 accessories pack free. There are various Quattro Tour systems and at very different prices. Cartwheels at the Caravan in Yazd

Advantages: Plenty of space and surprisingly quiet setting
Disadvantages: Outside the town so you'll need transport to get around

...On a group tour of Iran in 2006 we spent two nights at the Caravan, a large hotel located a few miles outside the ancient desert city of Yazd. The Caravan is close to a large but surprisingly quiet road and takes the form of lots of small white single-storey apartment-style chalets set back from the road and surrounded by gardens. Ciao have done a great job of finding a good photo that shows what these look like. There was nothing else anywhere near the hotel so be aware that once you are there, unless you have transport, there's nothing to see or do nearby. Pulling off the highway from the airport, the driveway brought us past a large building that housed the reception, the restaurant and other shared facilities and then to the accommodation area. Review of Caravan Hotel, Yazd, Iran

The best caravan park around!

Advantages: Brand new caravans that are well kept.
Disadvantages: As with all caravans a little on the pricey side.

Grand Tour of LA!

Advantages: get to see lots in short space of time

Review of Hollywood VIP tours (Grand Tour of LA)

Caravanning with a difference!

Advantages: plenty to do on and off site, entertainment every night
Disadvantages: amusements were expensive

...Perran Sands Haven Site was ideally situated in Perranporth, Cornwall and had its own beach - accessed from a steep hill and had no car park near the beach. However, it was excellent for body-boarding and we enjoyed this for several hours. The only down side was the climb back up !! There was no life guard - but we did got out of season, so this was to be expected. The caravan we used was a Silver type which came with duvets, microwave and had a gas fire in the living room. The kitchenette was quite big and we had 2 toilets, 1 with a shower and the caravan had 3 bedrooms. On site was 2 amusement arcades, a Burger King, 3 or 4 bars (we did not visit the Surf Rider to see what it contained), a mini supermarket and Crazy Golf and a ride which was similar to bumper cars but span you round and had lasers on it, which cost £1 a go...

Review of Perran Sands Haven Caravan Site

Graeanfryn Farm in North Wales - camping and caravanning site

Advantages: Not too far from Portmadog, sandy beaches around 1 mile away, prices quite reasonable
Disadvantages: Toilets/showers could have been a lot cleaner, terrible Welsh weather, not much space on site

...Graeanfryn Farm I stayed here earlier this Summer holiday with my family. We had just bought a new touring caravan and this was the first place we tried it out in. We have been to many camping sites before we bought our new caravan, staying in a tent, but after freezing half to death and getting soaking wet (as well as having to listen to the whole sites arguments/ snoring etc through the thin fabric walls of a tent) too many times in our "waterproof" tent we'd just had enough, and decided a caravan would be better to suit our needs. Location Graeanfryn Farm is in Nefyn, we had stayed in this town before and that is why we choose to come to this site for our first trip in the caravan - if anything went wrong at least we knew the town quite well and wouldn't get lost on our way back home and also its a lovely place...

Martin mere touring caravan site

Advantages: Come and go when you please, great for wildlife people
Disadvantages: Noisy near the club. Poor drainage on site

...It has been 20 years since staying at this caravan park so we (my wife and I) decided to go for a week with our little two berth tourer. We booked up for the premier pitch three weeks before hand to make sure we got in because it was the start of the illuminations, a very busy time usually. We got booked up ok and the Lady on the phone when we booked was quite pleasent. On arrival we had to go to the booking in office for the touring section, which we did. It was lashing it down so I made a mad dash for the office, only to find it locked up. No sign on the door telling people where to go or what to do. It was only 11:30am Saturday morning so I would have thought someone would be there. Overstone Caravan Park

Advantages: Very freindly clean site with good amenities.
Disadvantages: Only opens on a seasonal basis.

...For the past couple of years myself and the family have made frequent visits for short breaks to a lovely little caravan park in Northamptonshire, "Overstone". It's quite close for us but makes a nice change and is 100% enjoyable every time we go there, though in my case it's mostly the great fishing I enjoy. You can find Overstone caravan park in the village of Overstone, situated between Wellingborough and Northampton approximately 4 miles from the A14 making it easily accessible from almost every where. This quaint little site offers an outdoor swimming pool along with a pitch & put course and the usual play park area's for the kiddie's including a mini BMX track. On site there is a launderette, post office, cafe, hair dressers and a general store so you don't have to worry about running out of anything. There is also a club...
