...As a car and especially touring car fanatic I was delighted to hear that Codemasters were to bring out a Touring cars game called TOCA touring cars based on the 1997 season. So it wasn't long before I was down at my local Woolworths pledging my money towards their funds - or maybe the Woolworths executive managers. It was a great game and too everybody's suprise - apart from mine of course - it shot to the top of the sales charts knocking off Tomb Raider and went on to become the 3rd best seller of the year. It seemed only fitting that Codemasters should bring out a sequal called TOCA2 - hardly original I know - but the name swayed me to buy it and soon I was blasting round Coram curve at Snetterton and the Hanger straight at Silverstone. taking the tour

Advantages: accessories, ease of use, price
Disadvantages: for some the size might be a put-off

...has a clock and temperature reader. At any point in my journey I can just look down and check the time or when standing outside the school I can know just who cold it is! The wheels turn easily and smoothly. It used to be that some 4-wheel buggies were hard to navigate but this one has no trouble turning a corner. Just to give you an idea I was in town today with my usual Starbucks in one hand and piloting the buggy with the other. I purchased my Graco travel system from Babies R Us for £260 and there was a promotion to get the £100 accessories pack free. There are various Quattro Tour systems and at very different prices. I think the cheapest of which is around £150. The accessories pack made it so I had the buggy itself, the car seat, one car base, changing bag, foot cosy, carrycot attachment, and rain cover. Grand Tour of LA!

Advantages: get to see lots in short space of time
Disadvantages: don't get much time in each place

...we got back onto the bus to resume our tour. Rodeo Drive was out next destination however we didn't get off so we had to get the feel for it while driving though heavy traffic. It was annoying as you were trying to soak in everything in a short space of time with buses and cars blocking your view at times. This is the area the stars go shopping and has all the expensive shops like Gucci and Giorgio Armani. So you were constantly straining your neck to see if you could see someone famous, well I know I was anyways! Near to here was Hollywood's walk of fame where we got off and was able to explore and look about. The walk of fame is basically a street with those famous stars on the pavement. Review of The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour, Liverpool

Mamas and Papas Pro-Tour, in my opinion potential death trap

Advantages: it hides the dirt well
Disadvantages: an expensive waste of money that, in my experience, isn't fit for its purpose

...I know it's a very emotive title but I really think it's an accurate one. We bought the exact model pictured about approx 18 months ago (117 GBP) and although it was never an easy seat to use (the 5 point harness twisted all too easily) we could at least trust it to be safe. However, since moving to the next stage where the cars 3 point harness comes into play we discovered that when our daughter leans forward to pick something up (and all children will do this) the red plastic guide at the shoulder is so badly designed that it stops the seat belt from retracting and thus effectively left our daughter in an unrestrained seat. We've tried it on 2 makes of car (although to be honest I don't see why we should have to!) a Fiat and a Toyota and the result was exactly the same in each one and even then we even went so far as to try fitting...

Toca World Touring Cars, A must for racing fans

Advantages: Wide array of cars and tracks, great two player mode
Disadvantages: Too easily completed for better gamers

...This is in my opinion the greatest racing game to date on the playstation. The racing feels very similar in ways to the previous Touring car releases but the opposition appear much more realistic in their tactics and have less of a tendancy to race in a straight line one after another. Never have so many cars and tracks been incorporated in one game! Only Gran Turismo competes on the car level and the number of tracks is fantastic, then when the bonuses are gathered the tracks can be inverted basically doubling their number. They are all very realistic and even in two player where other computer cars can be chosen and raced against the graphics and speed hold up. Unfortunately for the slicker racers out there this game is a bit too easily completed but the online hall of fame sets challenges for even the best of them. A truly...
