...SCP Hair Straighteners SCP Medium Tourmaline Black Straightener MK4 I previously owned a pair of Andrew Collinge hair straighteners costing roughly £50 from argos, and as usual i assumed they would be good straighteners from a respectable hair designer. From day one they barely worked and couldn't cope with my semi-thick hair. After 4 months they had broken and refused even to heat up. As i had just moved into my new house i needed to find a new pair of straighteners without the large cost. I came across the SCP straighteners whilst looking for a cheap pair of GHD's (not possible) At only £25 i thought it would be worth a go just to try them and if they weren't any good it was no big loss. Advantages: The best on the market! Brilliant job on any type on hair.

...as a frizzy mess anyway! Then I tried a friends GHD's and thought they were the best ever, the answer to my prayers! So I went on a hunt for the cheapest offer, this took a few months but whilst looking I stumbled across an advert for the latest innovative hair straighteners on the market; the T3 tourmaline wet-to-dry. I didn't know anyone with these straighteners but I really liked the sound of them, especially the fact you can just jump out of the shower and straighten from wet. I read up on them and everything said was very positive. I know they are expensive (almost £100) but I was gonna spend that much anyway on the GHD's. So, my hunt started again but this time for the T3 iron. It didn't take long for me to find a good offer. I waited a couple of days for them to arrive and when they did I wasn't disappointed. ...I am one of those people who straighten their hair way too much, end up with it being too dry and then have to spend loads of money on conditioning products to out it right. My hair is naturally pretty straight but we all want vertical straight lines nowadays wihtout those natural waves. I own 3 pairs of straighteners because i was yet to find the right ones for me or my hair. Then i read an article on the net about the new revolution of Tourmaline straighteners. unlike ceramic straighteners the plates are made of crushed gems (tourmaline) which emit negative ions when heated. Enough science, What this means is that they can reach temperatures in excess of 210 degrees, dry hair as they straigten and all the time lock in the moisture. ...I bought this to replace my Boots Ionic hair dryer which gave good results and shiney hair This new tourmaline technology is even better, it combines ionic and infa red to give really fast results and beautiful film star shiney hair This dryer is very stylish with 3 heat settings and 2 speed settings, it also has a genuine cool shot button to set curls etc This is definately the best hair dryer I have ever owned and Iv bought loads, I usualy buy a new one every 2 or 3 years Im not one to fuss too much and like to dry and style as quickly as possible With the diffuser removed hair can be rough dried in just a few minutes, using the narrow flow difuser and a vent brush to style creates super silky and fabulous glossy hair The only down side is that it is a rather heavy hairdryer, but as it is not nessesary to spend ages... ...I have just tried Aveda Tourmaline Charged Hydrating Cream, courtesy of a shop assistant who gave me a sample while I was shopping for shampoo. In a matter of 3 days, using it morning and evening, it transformed my previously dull, greyish, and dry skin into something altogether different: My face feels smooth, my pores are a lot less visible, and the same goes for the stress wrinkles I had developed on my forehead and around my eyes. My skin looks and feels healthy. The smell and texture is wonderful. It absorbes very well, yet leaves a very fine protective layer on the skin - a sign of a good creme. It actually contains finely ground tourmaline particles which mineralise the skin, and I think minerals are extremely important.
