...I always buy Always Ultra towels, but last month I was caught unexpectably without. The shop I went to didn't have Always towels, so I had to choose another brand. I do not like cheap sanitary towels, as it feels like you have a matress between your legs. So instead of choosing those, I decided to try Interlude. I had never heared of this brand before, but they were for heavy flow and night time use, which is what I was after. ********************PACKAGING******************** These sanitary towels come in a lilac wrapping, with white strips down both sides and along the bottom. Advantages: look pretty, usually soft
Disadvantages: expensive, small, pretty useless

...I have fallen into the trap of buying hooded towels for both of my children and each time wondering why I bothered. Basically what they are are very small towels, more like hand towels, with an extra triangle shaped piece of towel sown into one corner in order to make a hood. This time I chose a Mothercare pack of three towels in shades of pink and white. This cost me £12, but if you shop around you can find them slightly cheaper at around £3 per towel, or a lot more expensive like toys r us at £9.99 per towel! I was disapointed with the mothercare ones as while in the pack they look quite thick and soft but upon opening you realise that the thickness comes from layers of cardboard wedged in between each towel! They are thin and not exactly rough but they could be softer. The idea is that you put the hood over the babys head... Read review

...I was given one of these hooded towels as a present when my son was born 18 months ago.I was of course delighted to receive it,just so you don't think i'm an ungrateful ill mannered individual!However having said that it's not something I would have bought for myself for the following reasons- 1.The towel is very expensive,mine came from mothercare and cost £10!Probably because it had winnie the on! 2.The towel is quite small(about 100x50 cm)and didn't last very long.I only used it for about 2 months. 3.I found the towel difficult to fold as the hood means you have to fold it diagonally.Yes I know that's sad but I like my towels in a neat folded pile in the airing cupboard! Advantages: Aborbant, small for packing
Disadvantages: a bit small

...I purchase one of these about a year ago and it has been fairly good. There are many advantages this has over a regular beach towel, but the disadvantages are also highly apparent. But firstly the advantages: 1. It is unbelievable small compared to a regualr towel and with its size comes a huge decrease in weight too. Now although this is especially important for trekkers and backpackers it is also useful for holiday makers who want to save that bit more space in their suitcase. 2. Unlike normal holiday towels this one is super absorbant too. They are very small and you only just keep your dignity but with this tiny towel you can easily dry your whole body. 3. Advantages: Compact, Functional and pleasing to the eye.
Disadvantages: Only really holds 1 towel.

...in the box, I decided to investigate further, so, I opened the box to find all of the fittings required included in the price. I also, found that it included easy to follow instructions, written step by step. It was also of a very high quality, better than I first thought, plus the finish was excellent. The finish to the towel ring was smooth with no marks or blemishes. Once I had seen, this product and found that there was other items, also from this same range that would complement my bathroom, I decided to purchased it, along with several other products all of which were of an outstanding quality for a great price of only £9.98 per product. ...I brought a pack of these towels before my baby was born. i think the pack of three cost me about £15. Once my baby was born i was given a gift of normal sofa asda towels which i am still using for my son now and he is nearly a year old. I would not advise anyone to go out and buy a set of towels if they are expecting a baby as you realy do have so much other stuff to purchase. but i do think that the packs make a lovly gift set for a friend or family member who is expecting a baby. the pack that i purchased only lasted about 3 months because as soon as they are old enough to realise that the hood is there they will do everything to get the hood off. also i found that they only stayed soft for about 2 months, after that they went bobbly and very firm. Advantages: Super absorbent, great for soaking up wet muddy paws
Disadvantages: Standard size is only OK for smaller animals.Use Big Dog towel size for Labrador size pets.

...I was looking for a towel that would help dry off wet paws, or to dry off my dog quickly, especially when it comes in from the wet.You know you only have about a minute before he shakes water all over the place. Lo and behold, whilst buying a SnuggleSafe heatpad at: www.snugglesafe.co.uk I saw that they do this micro fibre towel for pets. It arrived in a couple of days and because we have had a lot of wet weather recently, I had plenty opportunity to try it out. What a great pet product!! You don't need to buff your pet down, you just wrap the towel around it and presto your dog is totally dry. No fuzziness or hairs/water flying around. The dog doesn't ever need to shake off any excess water because there isn't any, because all the water soaks up in the towel.It is so good I am going to get one for my own use. It really cuts down...
